  1. Im the same way with distortion. I loke my one vendor (moose electronics) and dont look anywhere elses, but i am also a lusithand fanboy so i really like this!
  2. I've been considering doing something similar, but im worried if i do that the big one will never be used! Are these pedals from the "big" board or all different ones?
  3. It kind of reminds me of Les Claypool's Whamola
  4. I had a wal back in the day and always thought it was a sharp feature!
  5. I mentioned this in the other thread, but didnt post it. He played on one of my band's singles. I get to (try to) play rhis line every week.
  6. I recently built a three pickup bass and wired it like a strat but with a knob instead of a switch.
  7. Amazing! So awesome The only thing missimg is the little ball bearings sunk in for knob position indication! I suppose with numbered knobs you dont need that thougj
  8. Iike just the end bit of the pickguard? Adam Clayton style? Or the whole thing loke this?
  9. I'm a big fan of your man's stuff. Always interested in checking out new pedals. https://lusithanddevices.com/product/ground-pound/
  10. The bass has now been dropped off to my local luthier for nut grooving and final setup! Looking to have a NBD this time next week!
  11. I can give you some pointers. I'm charming AF.
  12. Holy shite! He plays on our last single and will be on our album coimng out in October. Wow. My bandleader was in a band with him and dolores from the cranberries. He's going to be shook. What a tragedy...
  13. Oh, i know, but not liking tort on black is like not liking chocolate, puppies or the irish.
  14. It also looks so cool! I find myself using it more than the bart J or MM i have in the same bass. My frankenstein i built. I hooked it up to a 12 step varitone knob and i just love it! It is very very versatile
  15. really?you guys don't like black and tort? man, i love it. A classic. Wait until you see the maple board! Some people reallly won't like that with tha black/maple combo!
  16. Pickguard on, pickup in with @KiOgon loom installed. We're in the home stretch now! One odd thing that took me a bit to figure out. I suppsoe my cavity was a bit shallow, so while the output jack was working, as soon as i screwed down the pickguard, the sound cut out. Turns out one of the pots was hitting the shielding and that was causing everything to cut out. I shielded the shielding with electrical tape and the issue went away.
  17. Im not sure why i got stuck on the idea it had to be beeswax!
  18. SO can i ask about pilot holes? SHould they be as deep as the screw is going to go or a little less so? i use a drill bit the same size as the screw without the threads, yeah? I have to do them for pickups, bridge and pickguard so i will be drilling a lot of pilot holes!
  19. This is the shielding job i did last night. Im happy with it for sure! Just windering if i need to fill in around the controls on the pickguard. I suppose not.
  20. Beeswax candle or just a regular wax candle?
  21. For a bass. Pickguard, bridge and pickups screws
