I use mine all the time. Hopefully they didnt discontinue because of an issue other than getting parts. I dont think youll regret it at all.

Why the tonex over the two notes opus?
-
The harnesses i get use these. Not sure what they are called

Found a thread on reddit. Searching around seems to confirm https://www.reddit.com/r/BossKatana/s/XMTLEIHPc6 Thomann and Andertons seem to have stock. Grab one while you can! Definitely one of the best gear purchases I've made.

What's the bass/instrument you have had longest?
lidl e replied to Stub Mandrel's topic in General Discussion
Bought this new in 1989. It was actually stolen in 1991. I received insurance money and bought an Ibanez SDGR1500. Then a few months later, my friend saw it for sale, called the cops, they picked it up for evidence and then several years later i got a letter saying i could come pick it up. have since defretted and changed out electronics and pickups -
It doesnt meet your requirements, but i went with the Two Notes Opus instead of the tonex. Outstanding bit of kit in every way and the best software interface I've seen. Although i find myself using the DI on my ampeg pf20t more than the Opus for recording.

Nice one. Hiw was that Bearded Theory? Someone just yesterday was telling me it was the nicest festival
-
They're fantastic. Check out all the features.

I didnt realise it was considered a "synth fuzz". I thought it was just straight overdrive/distortion. It does sound great. I do agree on that Zac guy's demos. He's the best. I wonder if i can recreate the Doom 2 sound using an analog synth into a dirt pedal

FYI, everyone. The gHost adapter has something special about it as i tried many cables and adapters to get around buy the gHost. Only that one i linked to on amazon worked for me,but is is a very "elegant" solution I bought all of these trying to get it working And yes, i did end up spending much more on all of these than if i just went ahead and bought the gHost.

Yeah, i prefer their early stuff by far. The only band who's later stuff i prefer oddly enough is U2!

Cheers. I'm not a monster player, but i do have good improv skills and am fairly adept at effects usage, so while i couldnt sit in a room and do covers, i can definitely make some cool sounds! We're gonna do it again and then repost looking for more people.

I dont know if you're looking for other options, but I'd be looking at the HB powered spaceship The power supplymis built into the board. Best value/quality ratio for a product. I highly recommend https://www.thomann.de/ie/harley_benton_spaceship_power_40_b.htm (I feel like this will be one of those times where i miss the point of why you're asking! Those cases for the mono do look nice. So expensive, but i suppose if youve got 1000 quid worth of pedlas it makes sense to have a better case)
-
Yeah, that great eastern xo would be perfect. If i had the space I'd seriously consider it. I think it woild really tighten up the C4 and some of the crazier reverb toneprints i use, but on this board i dont have the space for it. Knowing me, I'd run it wide open anyway! I will run an empress paraeq deluxe before the blender so i can kind of do a bit of focusing, but yeah, that is a cool pedal for sure. The IE looks awesome as well. The KMA tyler is a bit much but i dig what it does and i could definitely utilise it!

Interesting. Just reading there about the doom 2 and the sawtooth wave. Will habe to find some vids
-
No, but I'll look right now. This one is top of the list because space will only barely allow it and it does exactly what i need.
-
Why is it so pricey? I can conceivably understand why the octabvre and photon are as tjose are more specialist items, but isn't this just a distortion pedal? What makes it special? I've never looked into it although i docthink they octabvre sounds great. Maybe the best octave I've heard (online)

Kicked off in London the other night with Dave Navarro back in the band. Anyone catch the UK shows? I'm seeing them here in Dublin in June. Recent videos have Perry not sounding great, but hoping for the best.

I posted a video of Lark's tongue in aspic and said "does anyone want to make music like this..."

I think im gomna grab one of these. Fathers day is in two weeks. I'll ask for a thomann voucher even though i was planning on asking for socks! I'm going to have to daisy chain with with my tuner. Should be fine. Might have a bit of overhang on the edges.
-
I've never had the ls2, but obviously I've been aware fornit for many years. 75% of people think it's the greatest pedal there is and 25% complain of noise and "tone suck" with it. I'd say it's about as good as it gets for thatcspecific utility, but i dont have the space for it. I went for an ehx switchblade pro over the ls2 for this purpose on my bigger board. Seemed to have better features and easier to operate. I love it, but its big.
-
Yeah, i have a switchblade pro on my bigger board which is killer, but i only have a small corner to fit this onto. It will be close.. I suppose i could put it under the board. Do you remember if you needed the power connection? I would turn the buffer off as my tuner has one already.
-
Anyone have one of these? It looks pretty good. Is there possibly anything smaller out there thay does the same thing? I can just about fit it on my board, but even a few mm smaller would be helpful. Would the power be needed for this for anything besides the led would anyone know? https://one-control.com/products/minimal-series-mosquito-blender-trail-with-bjf-buffer I'm doing some pretty crazy effects stuff recently amd im needing a bit of dry tone to define everything a bit better.

Maybe i can get the mrs. to dance behind us in sheer tops She does have a very similar figure to ms. Wilcox if not the same "exuberance"
