I took the plunge with my first kit. Let's see if i can figure this out. It's a HPF/LPF clone kit from das musikding

Of the hundreds of pedal board pics ive seen in the last few years, the most popular choice seems to be the tc electronic ditto series followed fairly closely by the boss RC series. Obviously there is a chasm between the two as far as cost/features with yhe BOSS doing more but also much more expensive.

@Cato have you downloaded to extra tone packs? They have 2 with 4 different presets each. One just basic bass sounds and one pack all new effects presets
-
I will concur with just about everything brother Cato has said here. I do thunk the presets sound good though. Especially with some light tweaking, but i guess they arent presets then... So many parameters for each effect are tweakable and you have like 60 different effects types. The only cons i can see are only 30 preset slots, i like most of the presets and dont want to overwrite. Agreed on the slap presets, those were the first to be overwritten. Also the preset groupings dont make sense but that is a small small issue that is easily rectified. It sounds amazing. Easy to setup. Strwaming bluetooth from phone or computer works perfectly. I give this product an absolute recommended purchase seal of approval. It will inspire you to play more since it is so easy to use. I qas readkng through the manuals last night. With the wireless accessories it really is a whole rig. Also the tonestation app has some cool automation features for gigging and playback. Could 100% be used as a full rig

what about something like this. Looks perfect and would eliminate the need for syncing? https://www.roland.com/us/products/gomixer_pro-x/ @0175westwood29

Ive got a 89 Sarzo that i defretred and outfitred with bartolinis and a bartolini harness.

Personally i wouldn't have a problem with it at all. Ive bought and sold dozens of basses on ebay/adverts/Craigslist over the years and with technology today you can get a good idea of the bass. If a BC member was willing to check something out and help get it to me, that would virtually eliminate any reservations i might have had. I've done it for a member here and had no reservations doing so. I made it clear i would check the purchase out and get it to them but any issues would not be able to be resolved as im in ireland and i shipped to your man in the UK. And it was a fairly expensive item. Was just a bit of paperwork and time.

They did have a new gibson guitar shape i hadn't seen before. I asked the guy about it and he said its brand new based on some found drawings. The gibson theodore. It looked alright in person

The pod express bass is 222 now. It was definitely 179 a few weeks ago.
-
I knew i should've bought @admiralchew 's!
-
Dang, you're right. I was looking at the hx one just last week and it was 279 or 289 (Euros here obviously)

I have a bass with SIMs custom LED inlays and headstock logo. It also has a laser that shoot out the top!

seeing as he sits down when he lays now, i think it might be too heavy for him. It's almost 10lbs the neck is gorgeous. I had a buddy make it for me.

That video is rad! Which bassist are you? The one with the tatooed fingers, the bald fella or the young hipster kid at the very end?
-
I built rhis fella from scratch. Raw wood. I decided to use all the pickups! Has a 12 step varitone and the MM can be split by the switch

They did have a kramer section downstairs but i didnt check it out for some reason. They had all maestro effects pedals. Are they a gibson product?

It was pretty egregious. I felt like this:

I popped in today to check it out. I saw dozens of guitars. I asked the girl working there "where are the thunderbirds?" And she looked puzzled and asked me "what's that? Docyou mean firebirds?" Lol... After i explained it's the bass version she copped on and showed the bass wall. Two reverse t-birds and a gene simmons signature. Downstairs they had some epi t-birds. I tried out the reverse. The neck was like a baseball bat which i was surprised at since a regular tbird neck is nice and slim.

Meant in the best way!

lidl e replied to dave_bass5's topic in Accessories and Misc
Ive said this is a few threads already (I'm excited!) but the lads at the Denmark street Roland/BOSS store said to me it is the best product boss has ever put out. And this was unsolicited and after i had already paid. I literally bought it an hour ago. Won't get to use it until home in Dublin.
