Total Watts

  1. More for Admin/mod awareness, but BC had a brief outage … Mark
  2. ^^ This. ^^ £159 for a 5-string fretless, better than butchering a beloved bass you are keeping for sentimental reasons, no? Mark
  3. Mark
  4. What about a 10-string one (5-string+octaves)? Because if 'yes' we can take this to DM to discuss. 😁 Mark
  5. Does such a thing exist? Mark
  6. My Vox AC50 amplifier head and my Vox VR115 speaker cabinet. Neither of these get any usage these days. The amp head hasn't been used in so long (was in England with my mum for 20+ years just being stored for me) that the internals all need a good seeing to by a more qualified person than I. It's the only amp+cab that I've ever owned, and it sounds immense. I'd really not want to get rid of it if I had the choice. My Washburn AB-35. I love playing this bass so much. My frozen shoulder has meant it hasn't got the attention it deserves recently, but soon, hopefully. Mark
  7. Hello there! I joined the BB owners club in November last year … Mark
  8. Hello and welcome. Mark
  9. If the OP is using Windows then GarageBand isn't an option, so will have that hurdle of drivers to contend with. I don't envy them this process, I went through something equally frustrating with video editing when it transitioned from analogue to digital, so I understand their frustrations somewhat with this. Mark
  10. The OP states they are using a Focusrite Scarlet, which is "class compliant" so yes, it would work, and indeed does work, as I have this setup and works with GarageBand no problems. Mark
  11. No bother. I also bought Black Glass (live acoustic). I suppose it would've helped if I could remember the names of the people in the bands so I could've tagged in my post. I've got your Chapter & Verse EP lined up for a 2025 purchase, together with Money for old Rope by The Inevitable Teaspoons, which is another forum member's band but again I can't remember who so no tag. My memory's terrible! Mark
  12. Not me. Mark
  13. A couple I missed off my original post above that I think deserve mentions … Deadlight Dance released an album called The Wiltshire Gothic, which I really liked and subsequently purchased via Bandcamp. Def Nettle released an album titled DN001, which I again really liked and purchased through Bandcamp. Both the above bands are from members here on BassChat. Mark
  14. +1 for a shoutout to Postmodern Jukebox, I never knew of them before they did their cover of Def Leppard's Pour Some Sugar on Me (which I think was last year? Maybe?), anyway, been listening to them now and again through the year and really enjoy what they do. Terrorvision released a new album this year! We Are Not Robots. This band has been a part of my musical landscape since their first album in '93, and I was very happy to get new music from them again after a (checks the Internet) 13 year break! Dea Matrona released their first album this year, For Your Sins. "Dea WHO?!?" you might be asking? Local band from over here (NI), I really like their stuff, and they released an acoustic EP as well earlier this month. Mark
