  1. I had no idea SCAN did basses. Every day's a school day. Mark
  2. All this talk about Status prices increasing is not good for my long held desire to own a 5-String T-Bass. 😢 Mark
  3. Tracking flights is such a weirdly compelling activity.

I've a friend mid-flight between Cairo and Toronto and she provided me the flight numbers and I'm tracking her progress across the globe.

  4. If the 5-string Sandberg Forty-Eight had a reverse in-line headstock, I'd already have one in my collection. Mark
  5. It still errors on Safari (it is an old version though) I have just tried in the latest Firefox and it worked as expected, so I'd likely put this down to my version of Safari on this Mac - which itself is old, I'll try my iMac later, I'm not expecting any issues there TBH. Mark
  6. I keep getting an error after the first page generated and I'm clicking to generate more … 'Safari can't open the page https://bandname.uk. The error is : "cannot parse response" (NSURLErrorDomain-1017) Mark
  7. Same. It's been working previously but now just says 'Coming Soon' and a login box underneath. Mark
  8. And how does one sort one from the other? Oh yeah, critical thinking. The distinction you make might be more obvious to you and me, and some others here, but it's not so obvious to a lot of people. I see this demonstrated daily in comments sections of news stories and articles. Mark
  9. Because of the impending death of critical thinking. Technology is a double-edged sword for this as it disseminates more information than ever before to us, but that is information overload, and as such the ability to focus on lengthy complex texts is diminishing, simply because we have to wade through so much guff to get to the crux of the matter. The fact a lot of this stuff is now residing behind paywalls isn't helpful either. People know who they like, and if a person of influence says something, who are you to argue against them? And if you do argue the point you just get shouted down, so really, what's the point? Critical thinking is on life support, and it's not gonna get any better. All of this is IMO. Mark
  10. Three pickup basses FTW. Nice score man. Mark
  11. Sheesh, he's really going all-in on the charm offensive, isn't he. Mark
