I had a look at some pics online and they look to be the ones.
Nice and cheap as well.
Thanks!

Yes, still available.
It's the standard mk2 pedal in a different case, box etc.

Thanks, this is all really useful advice...

I think you'd be hard pressed to find many smaller venues with 10 separate aux feeds for you all to have your our mix.
You may need to group people's feeds together and compromise.
Should be OK for that - guitars and bass need the same and I guess vocals will need similar mixes.

Exactly that and it's not an uncommon config. We've done gigs where we turn up (no backline) and present our 5 vocals, 4 drums, 6 instruments, 1 drum trigger and requiring 6 IEM feeds and venues have been overwhelmed, the IE always suffers; which is a mare if you have NO backline.
Great, will look into this more. Is this even with your own mixer and splitter?
-
I think to include the backing tracks and clicks and have individual mixes we need to do that?
We can't rely on FOH sorting out all our mixes I think since some venues are pretty basic and may not have that kind of knowledge.
I was looking at the kind of set up in this image:
https://www.talkbass.com/threads/setting-up-iem-gigs.1371246/#post-21946840
Sounds pretty similar to what you are doing?
-
Thanks, not exactly what we needed to hear 🙂😐
I guess mono will be OK, it will all be through a house desk which will all be different...
We absolutely don't know what we are doing so maybe inexperience and cost will push us to wired...looking at EW300/PSM900, both are going to be too expensive for the short term.
If we keep it simple and just go wired I guess the P2 is the best way forward from what I've read?
So Instrument->splitter->mixer->IEMs?
Back to the start of the thread for me to read some more 🙂
Thanks for the advice.

So....some probably pretty obvious questions coming...
I've read the start of the thread but am drowning in info...
We are a 9-10 piece band who will be doing a few dates in small concert venues.
2xGuitar and bass all have classic backline.
Then drums, keys, 2xStrings, 3xVocals on top.
We will have some backing tracks through the PA and will need clicks, and everyone will almost certainly need different IEM mixes.
The thought of 9 IEM cables on stage on top of the existing ones is pushing us towards wireless but the cost looks to be 10x?
(Behringer P2 vs UL1000)
Are there any recommendations on the gear needed to get this sorted?
I would say as cheaply as possible but reliability and good sound is more important.
Any advice on what mixers or other gear would be needed to cope with at least 10 musicians?
Very grateful for any hints...

Never thought of that!
I guess if they can wrap weird shapes on cars they can do a bass...
will go and investigate... thanks 🙂

Has anyone any experience getting a bass painted and airbrushed with their own design?
I'm thinking about trying this since it seems like the best way to get a bass I like playing with the aesthetics I want.
Curious to what the costs and pitfalls may be....
Any recommendations on where to go?
cheers

He said he does it to finance his bass habit and to get to try a load of basses he wouldn't otherwise have.
He wasn't bothered about it when I said his original price was higher than Bass Direct and wasn't at all pushy about selling.
He actually bought a bass off me about a year ago, I put the ad on Gumtree and he answered inside of 1 hour and bought it the next day.
I only realised it was him when I saw him to buy the new one.
To be fair if he was in Aberdeen I would have bought a different one, him being basically just down the M62 makes it easy. And the cuppa 🙂

You would hope he eventually gets haggled down? Unless he's playing the long game waiting for gullible people who are too lazy to do any research to wander into his orbit?
I bought a bass off him a few months ago, at the last minute I needed a specific bass type in the next few days for a first rehearsal with a new band and he had one.
In stock new was £1700, he had one for £1300, went down to £1200.
Bass Direct had the same bass for £1200 used but in a colour I really dislike otherwise I would have bought theirs.
So I bought his...was it overpriced for a bass from a private sale? Probably, but it was there, 45 minutes drive away, exactly the bass/colour I wanted and in mint condition.
A month or two later one was on ebay for about £1000, but was 2 months too late for me 🙂
So very happy with my purchase, the bass is great and he seems a nice guy, let me have all the time I wanted to play and check the bass and went off to make me a cup of tea.

What do the experts ( @cetera ) think of the Ethos series? Made by Cort in Korea…. they look really nice, but are they “Proper” Spectors? I’m considering one…..
Far from an expert but I've had a NS Ethos 5 for a month or so and I love it.
Great quality and a real joy to play.
The Aguilar pick ups can give a nice clean sound which is exactly what I needed from it.

Hi
Bought these on here for a singer to use but they didn't get on with it (preferred to flip pages in an A4 folder)
The clamp fits to a mic stand and holds most tablets. The footswitch is powered by a usb charged battery. It connects to tablets via Bluetooth. It has a number of functions but mostly useful for the forward and backward pedals.
Works with several different software packages, some free.
Price includes shipping.

Hi
Reduced to £200
Jam Pedals Bass Rattler Aschenbach edition
Great bass specific pedal, gives a brilliant two stage sound, all box, pick, manual etc included.
Examples of sound and blurb on their website.
https://www.jampedals.com/custom-artwork-item/achenbach-rattler-ltd/
These are £327 + VAT on the site now.....I'm asking for what it cost me, need to sell some gear.
There's a small scuff on the bottom right hand side black tar like stuff that you can't see if it's on a board.

Hi
Big price reduction as I need to get cash to pay for another...£1750 will get it delivered to you.
Trades added - I'm looking for a Spector Euro X, so if you have one....
(also other Spector trades possible).
I bought this bass 6 months ago on here and am only selling as I'm going to get a black one which better suits my band and can't keep two...
It's an amazing bass and never ceases to get compliments at gigs, rehearsal rooms etc.
It gives a great range of sounds from clean to a really good distortion through any of my pedals.
There are a few pick scratches in the lacquer from over enthusiastic gigs and a small scuff on one corner of the case but otherwise no marks/chips/scratches (see photos).
If I wasn't getting another I would be absolutely keeping this, it's a lovely bass and plays very nicely.
Asking for a bit less than what I paid due to the marks.
Can send any extra photos you may want.
Prefer pick up in Leeds but am often towards Nottingham, can have delivered by Lenspeed as well.

Great, thanks for confirming, I ordered some from Bass Direct.
Can't wait to get them as the set that was on had a great B that I haven't been able to get from any other strings on the same bass.
