So after thinking about it for a while I've decided to sell my Hofner to fund a Jazz purchase.......should keep the Missus quiet (some hope!). The Guitar is totally original and in excellent condition. It comes with the Hofner hard case which even has a humidity gauge in it! Never seen one of those before. It has a very low action and plays beautifully. The pickups are surprisingly pokey for a 'vintage' style guitar. Pics..... This is a genuine German made Hofner with the signed label inside the Guitar. Looking for £600.

Fender CS Stratocaster Custom Deluxe

Decided to sell this wonderful example of a Strat players Strat. This is the 2010 spec and to my mind the best (comes in the very rare HLE Gold with Rosewood fingerboard). The only other CSCD I saw for sale at the time in the same colour was a Maple neck version. It comes with the CS Case and CS certificate. I bought it new from Guitar Village and its never been gigged or even rehersed. Here's a link to a review.... http://www.musicrada...r-217932/review ......Says it all really Here's a couple of pics that aren't very good but do give a good idea of the colour. Looking for £1300 collected. As usual any trail is welcome with no obligation to buy.......I'm that confident

So.......I've decided to sell my Custom 24. I keep picking up my Tele and this isn't getting the attention it deserves so someone else needs to enjoy it. This is a used PRS with a few signs of age. Its an 08 model with the 'standard' neck and HFS/Vintage pick up config with the coil tap on a push pull tone control. Still has the original hang tag, trem bar and PRS case. The Guitar plays beautifully with a low action, no choking and smooth trem. You really can get a wide variety of tones, both chunky humbucker and spanky single coil. There is a ding that you can see near the volume control and there's buckle rash on the back below the trem cover. I've tried to show these marks in the pics but if these things bother you all I can say is come over and satisfy yourself that you're happy. Anyone is welcome to come and try with no obligation at all. I live just outside Kings Lynn in Norfolk. The actual colour is closer to a vintage tobacco sunburst than anything. The flash on the camera makes it look more cherry sunburst than it is. The first pic (unflashed) is a good representation. This has been hanging on my wall for too long and really needs a new Owner to use and appreciate it. I've gone back to Guitar and really don't ever play bass. The story behind the Bass. A few years ago I decided the only way I'd ever get a Bass I really wanted was to have it built. The Basses that I most lusted after were Celinder and Fodera. Love the Celinder shape and Fodera's use of exotic woods.....but how to combine the two? After some initial talks with the Forum's own 'Chopthebass' (Ian, very nice guy now living in Canada) and looking at some of his other creations (several Sei inspired headless beauties) he was duely commisioned. I still have all the build pics for anyone interested. The design. Body shape is the Celinders' take on Fenders' Jazz. Fully scuplted forearm and gutaway with a Sei inspired relieved neck joint for better access up the dusty end. The neck dimensions were taken from my Ibanez SR1000 prestige. The headstock is angled back a few degrees to obviate string tree's. Timbers. Body. Mahogany core, Burr Maple front and Flame Maple back with Black Ash veneers to highlight the join. The control cavity is cut from the same Flame Maple and matches beautifully. Neck. Three pieces of Maple, two outers are Flame and the centre is Hard Rock. The facing on the headstock matches the body including the trussrod cover . Trussrod is two way. Fingerboard is Macasser Ebony with side dots only. Hardware. Pickups are EMG PJ set Active powered by an Aguilar pre amp (OB1 if I remeber correctly). The control cavity is copper lined. Hipshot Bridge and Machine heads (ultralites). Marvel locking straplocks. Complete with hardcase. The attention to detail and build quality of this instrument is second to none and will stand the closest scrutiny. You can probably guess that the best quality timbers, hardware and build doesn't come cheap but its also not unreasonably expensive (although I appreciate these things are subjective). I'm asking a very reasonable £650 in an attempt to move the Bass on. If you'd like to try before commiting to buy thats fine as I'm confident that anyone seriously interested will have it, I might even throw in a rich tea biscuit with a cuppa. Ah yes......some pics? Go on then... Haven't posted in the Forums for a while, pretty much since I swapped back to Guitar. But now there's a thread especially for the 'untouchables'......so here goes. I still have my Custom Bass made by the Forums very own Chopthebass.....now residing in the wilds of Canada. Guitar duties are covered by a Fender Custom Shop Strat and a Fender Road Worn Tele. The amp has recently been changed from a Fender DRRI to a Swart Space Tone Reverb. This thing is so unbelievably good its......well......unbelievable! Its a tone MONSTER. Only 5 watts but its class A single ended and it'll take a 6V6, 6L6 or an EL34 without rebiasing. Valve rectifier as well. The reverb is the deepest lushest cavernous (if you want it) reverb I've heard. If you get the chance to try one of these wonderful amps, take it. Pics? Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue

This is a bit of a feeler really. I've got a touch of GAS and just want to explore a couple of possibilities. So.......this amp is absolutely immaculate, works perfectly and comes complete with the Fender footswitch. Anyone looking at this will know what to expect tone wise and it doesn't dissapoint. It has the Jensen C12K speaker. Will post a couple of pics in a day or two. I'm looking for £720 which is about the going rate for a good one and this one is exceptional. Pretty good for an amp that new retails at over a grand now
