No, I have one of the newer ones with just this thunderbolt port. I can't find any adaptors that I can use. looks like the tc is for sale!

Can you go in to the usb from firewire?

Hi all, as the tittle says, I have a tc electronic firewire interface and have just bought mac book pro with the thunderbolt port. Is any one using these? Is there a adapter that i can get hold of so i can plug my interface in to the thunderbolt port?

Great for someone who fancys one, they are great cabs. Not so great for someone that was thinking of having a change and getting some different cabs. Mines just been devalued! I don't think i will be the only one that isn't amazingly impressed.

It was great to see him play the other night, even though its not really my bag music wise. I dragged along two non musical mates and they weren't too bothered about going but they were really impressed. "hit me with your rhythm stick" is one of my most favourite bass lines.

Went to see Wilko last night with Norman watt-roy on bass. If I could even exude may be 10% of the passion for music Norman does then I would be a happy boy. Got to meet him, all but briefly. Legend FACT......!

What differences can I expect from my bass? They are different and it all depends on what you like, what ever sounds good to you is good. I am a beginner, but I've been playing fingered since the start, never even picked up a plec and I find my bass to be a sluggish, stiff piece of tree Practise practise and practise, pick a album you like learn it and move on to another one. Stiff pieces of tree's can all be played . Some are may be better than others. I am lucky enough to have a couple of nice stiff pieces of tree's From what I've read the fretless are more fluid, with a better sound though often quieter? A fretted can be played as fluid as anything its all in the skill of the player.

Go for it some people may find it daunting but the transition is not that difficult. Becoming a very good fretless player takes a bit more than knowing where the notes are though. I think your skills on fretted will get better quicker if you also have a go at fretless. Personally I'm not very good at it yet but I do love the sound I'm getting from mine.
