Cheers Dood I do recall getting your advice on this very subject, from what you have said mate i think you would like the staccato a lot. ( gently placing a GAS seed in Dood's head)........................

Totally agree Chris, to me the Rh always seemed a bit held back and constrained, still a brilliant amp though. The Staccato seems to have the edge. Roll on studio rehearsals tomoz night!

I all have recently got hold of a staccato 51 and really like. After a couple of years of trying/ owning prob a dozen amps ( basschats fault) I have found " the one". For me the 51 is all the great features and sound control of the Rh450 with a bit of the smooth and punch i have missed a little from my good old f1 head. Many people say that there is little difference between the rh and the staccato but to my ears there is whole load more punch going on, i love punch!

The " Non specific back pain" term has had me very frustrated for the past few years. Hundreds of pounds spent on different treatments, doctors, pysio, Chiro, bowen, osteo, sports massage you name it i have tried it. I ended up paying for a mri and finding out I have bulging disks. Not great news but at least i can now deal with it. From personal experience and lots of research this is what I have found......... You have to self manage. The key for me is to stretch and condition the muscles that directly attach to the lower back (lumber spine) This frees up the tension around the vertebra and the disk from where a high percentage of trouble comes from . And strenthen the ones that surround those. Three simple stretches check on utube for Psoas muscle stretch Hamstring stretch ( tight hamstrings pull pelvis out of alignment and causes inbalance) Mckenzie back extension. ( this may not be suitable for all, start carefully) These stretches need to be done as often as possible. 4 or 5 times a day Along with this I have a inversion table ( lets you hang upside down) Inversion tables help to decompress the spine, any one that that suffers from back pain needs one of these the relief you get is just great the best thing I have found that helps. I use this a couple of times a day. All of the info above is from my experience and for me it works amazinly well, it doesn't mean it will work for every one. I am pretty much niggle free now. If any one wants further info, give me a shout. Regards Patch

Hi all, I have a barefaced compact that I purchased new last year, petty much as new. Still have box ( I think) What I am looking for is to trade this plus cash for 2 light weight cabs to Form a modular rig to go with my new tc head. I just need the advantage of leaving one cab at the studio, pm me with offers. Obviously I could do mine plus cash for the right deal. Need to be able to daisy chain them.
Garageband should be able to do everything you need, that and the inbuilt camera (for Youtube videos). As for interfaces, I quite like the Focusrite Saffire Pro 24, but it's up to you really. How many tracks will you be recording at the same time?
Hi, Well at home it would just be creating a track and me recording my playing to it. At rehersal we have two vocals , drums , acoustic guitar and moi, there is a small pa. Could I come straight out of that in to the interface? Cheers

Hi all I have just purchased a mac with the intention of recording some stuff. I am a total novice and have no idea about any of it so any advice would be greatly received. What I want to do is..... Create and write tunes. Create backing tracks so I can perform live. Visually record my self playing to create my u tube page. Record rehersals with my band. So the questions are........... Most suitable software logic? logic express ? gargeband etc...... Most suitable interface to connect bass. Any other tips would be useful.
I think this forum has alot to do with it, this is a great place to get advice. So many Gas quenching bargains come up for sale, hence the reason I have had six different amps and prob the same amount of trades/sales on basses in the last 12 months. I have now settled for the RH450 because it is great very versitile with very practical usable features, as you say very solid build quality.

Thanks all, I have emailed OBBM gjones that is exactly what I need, i will give you a shout when I find out how much OBBM can make one for.

Hi all I have a rh450 with a single spekon output on it, I have two cabs that both have single inputs so can't connect them in daisy. Is there a adaptor out there or a cable that can sort this lil dilema?
