  1. Is anyone interested in a Warwick ProFet 3? Considering selling and if anyone might fancy a look I will bring it with.
  2. Hello folks, I have a Warwick Profet 3.2 head. Lovely thing it is just not my sound, has a couple of funny issues, firstly the clip light turns on even under the slightest input.. not the only ProFet I have used that does this! The previous owner put a bit of black tape over the clip light as it wound him up and I have never taken the tape off! It doesn't clip just likes to flash... Also the main volume pot is very noisy, will give is a clear out with switch cleaner and see if that sorts it, if not might need a new pot, once it is up to volume there is no problem though. £150 inc. Shipping.
  3. I am not just bringing my bass but as I only have a 3 bass multi stand will also need to bring that, if anyone wants to bung theirs on there feel free!
  4. [sup]It is a fun thing thats for sure, and that is silly clean but I agree, too much.[/sup] [sup]Having said that I played a 1978 Mustang bass in Wunjo many years ago, at £1200 I thought it was about 300 too much, left it on the peg and left. [/sup] [sup]Decided 2 days later that despite being over priced I bloody loved it and had to have it, went back to find it sold [/sup] [sup]If the heart says yes then sometimes you need to overrule the brain.[/sup]
  5. I realise it has gone funny and nobody ended up getting it but the S/N shows all in order. Roadworn 60's Jazz in 3TS.
  6. The googles do nothing. 7. [quote name='Mr. Foxen' timestamp='1378343230' post='2199016'] CNC routing already covers what 3d printing can do for basses, the advantages are all cosmetics. [/quote] Not a chance. A CNC router, air filtration and raw materials cannot be used in the average home. 3D printers of the other hand can be used at home.
  8. Might have this let me talk to my mate who works up there.
  9. Sweet baby jesus. That my friend may be the best bass I have ever seen on BC.
  10. The next big thing WILL be 3d printing. Most if not all the big players (Fender, Gibbo etc) are investing in it for RnD. Within a few years you will be able to download and print a bass as quick as we use itunes etc now.
  11. Quite a few boners around at the moment.
  12. [sub]I actually really like the massive necks. [/sub]
  13. Does that include shipping?
  14. Guitar centre ship to UK now and offer this, you pay upfront and I guess they pay HMRC.
  15. Left handed well priced 6 string J with Barts.... Oh god, painful GAS
  16. Thankfully my USA P is everybit as good as I always hoped and GAS is gone. For now...
  17. Oh you utter arse. That is gorgeous.
  18. I am one of the lucky few to have had some real one on one time with a 50's lefty P bass, you know what I thought of it? It felt like an old flimsy bass that was as likely to crap out as give you great tone. As with any bass, buy the one your heart yearns for, not what the facts and figures tell you.

Amazing the differences in opinion on scratch plates! She is perfect to me, something makes me fancy a white pearl plate at some point but for now black is the one!
  20. [quote name='WalMan' timestamp='1376268314' post='2171607'] Blimey it's gonna be a big'un! [/quote] ..... thats what she said.
  21. Played a few at messe a few years back. Stonking basses. Everything good about Japanese fenders but with some unique twists. Fit and finish was completely top notch.
  22. Not sure. Probs worth emailing via their website.

Its called mystic red. Used it for first time at rehearsal today. Neck is just like butter. Want to put my 1/4 pounder in though. That stock 60s custom shop pup is a great pickup but not quite as in your face as my beloved duncans.
  24. I used to work for them!
  25. I thought wishbass generally shipped 'in the white' so the buyer could finish as they saw fit.
