God damn I'm in love.

I had a markbass do something similar before, turned out one of the blades on the speaker had wobbled loose over months and was basically vibrating on its pin. Was bizarre especially for such a high end cab.

Sorted. The battery connection had totally detached from the battery compartment!! Must have been very loose but it hadnt so much as been in a car for a year let alone really shaked about!

Hey brainy folks, Shipped my bass to deadlifter and it arrived today, bass is good no obvious drops etc but since leaving me one day ago it seems to have lost all active eq? Also when he a/bs it against his other ray full volume seems to be almost 2/3rds quiter on my old bass. Luckily it was fully insured so if shtf I can claim back the cost of any work on parts but can any clever bcer point us in the direction of anything that could result in the bass still working but quiet and the eq seeming to be bypassed? Obvious battery change tried!

This ones the keeper rodge! Still fancy a Wal one day and a thumb but this is my dream bass.

INB4 WRONG WAY ROUND! So I finally did it, obtained my dream bass, a Left handed USA Std P in Red (Mystic Red to be precise but the dream never stated and exact red...!) Stunning, my only electric bass now, I swapped the plate for a Black one right away as shown in the last photo! A Wal is the bucket bass for me. Black lefty Mk1 I have never in my life played a bass as good as a Wal Mk1

My girl was born this year, what I have just done is ordered a brand new USA Fender for myself, that way she will have a birth year Fender to inherit one day in the future.
