2.
If you do keep it and decide to go for a refret then the Warwick shop can supply precut frets for your bass in the original material; it's not worth using any other wire as you'll really devalue the bass further if a Warwick fan wants to buy it.
Agreed Bell Brass is wonderful
3.
The inlay was done by Sims - it's actually in their gallery. Admittedly it's not a great quality inlay. You can't see it in the pictures but there is a lot of filler and the MOP itself wasn't cut perfectly.
Don't want to sound harsh but the fact your reading that much into it seems like perhaps your just entirely unhappy with it. It seems your now finding fault with everything on the bass. Im really not criticising, its a natural reaction when your dissapointed with something. Personally I am not 100% the nut needs changing, in fact the JAN original is quite desirable now days and still offered as a custom option on new Warwicks. I think it just needs adjusting back into place. Fret's probably need a change rather than a crown but thats just my opinion, as for the refinish hmm I never know with a solid finish like that, I can understand why you would want natural oil but its a big job and you never know whats underneath! EDIT - Also serial number?
4. You want it tomorrow its yours if you collect in the evening. Beedster has indicated wouldnt be till the weekend, sorry to do this guys but its first come first served. Im not taking offers etc etc
5. No Idea! The Speakon out is a combined Speakon/3/4" jack But I only ever used it with one Cab so never really thought about it!
6. Fair call!
7. This thing is an absolute MONSTER! Im pretty sure I have never been as impressed with a pedal as I was when I heard this one.
8.
I'm in the middle of no where atm will find a cash machine asap
Get on it punkdude! Also to everyone I should add you will be collecting it from my brother not me at my house (I live in Germany!), if you want to test it a head will be there but only left handed basses so bring a bass! EDIT - The Impedance is 8ohm
9.
Hi mate, I'm tempted, I'll let Wayne have first dibs, please get back to me if he's not interested Cheers Chris
If you want it tonight its a case of whoever says to me - I am coming to collect it at 7pm please pm me your address! I really need the money! (as if the price was not clue enough!)
10. Realistically I want the case gone. I won't need a 3U Rack Case anymore once head is gone. The Head for £250 is cheap as anyway. If you dont want the case the head is still the same price! You can of course sell the case on as you wish.
11. Sounds good dude.
12. Medway towns! Rainham to be precise about 5 mins off the M2 EDIT- Also if either of you want this and pick it up tonight I will knock another 10 quid off!
13. Hey, Im selling my Ampeg B410HE cab. The cab goes for £320 new. The Cab is in good condition (a couple scuffs here and there as to be expected but no damage to the grill handles etc) and has only been used a few times. Great sound and fairly portable for a 4x10 thanks to the decent quality handles and casters. As pics show its a bit beaten up here and there but completely sound technically and im sure a good wipe down would get it almost new looking. I would do this but im not in the country and for the price if the most you have to do it wipe it over its a bargin! Ill take £150 Im in Kent collection is ideal although you can pay for shipping if you want I can meet anywhere in Kent or south M25 area (lakeside, Bluewater etc etc.) FRONT BACK SIDE SCUFFS
14. Schecter guitars went through somewhat of a bonkers stage about 4 years back. My brother has one its a Blackjack series (the current incarnation of this range is nowhere close to being the same guitar) Tele type. Seymour Duncan JB and 59 H/buckers Tonepros Bridge Graphite Nut Schaller Locking heads Full body binding Carved Top The parts are worth far more than the 300 pounds he paid for it new. Unfortuantly the quality seems to of dropped off somewhat of late, especially on this series. They are Duncan Designed and own brand HW now
15.
The original broken strings at that...
+1!
16. Also they should be played with broken strings still attached
17. Fair enough! I take it thats in regard to the vintage fender thread? It does make me sad to see those 3 in plexiglass cases. They should be getting thrown about in a dingy bar.
18.
Price and pics?
why dont you just get him to bid on your MM and do a trade?
19. Going to say Jap I honestly think they are as good as USA (maybe better) and for less money
20. Schaller for me, whenever I buy a bass first thing I do is fit some schallers
21. Is the badass not filed?
