1.
Does anyone have a link for Bluegrass guitar parts, I can't seem to find it via google.
Try this, mate: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/bluebass320/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=200&_trksid=p3686
2. **SOLD** [s]For sale and now at the ridiculous price of £70 inc postage, an EBS Multicomp.[/s] This is the non-true bypass model. Blurb from the EBS site: "The EBS Multicomp is a high performance, analog compressor pedal, with a choice between solid state, tube simulation and multi-band compression." It has been gigged and has velcro on the back but is in good condition and works perfectly. Comes with original box and manual. I'm looking for £70 including postage PM me for pics.
3. **SOLD** [s]For sale, an EBS Multidrive. This is the non-true bypass model.[/s] It has been gigged and has velcro on the back but is in good condition and works perfectly I'm looking for £80 including postage
4. SOLD. Thanks for looking, folks! --- For sale: a barely used EHX micro POG. One octave up and down, with dry signal blend. I'd like £90 including postage for this (they're around £140 new). Pics below.
5.
Thanks for the tip Clarky but i don't trust it. I want to tilt the top cab like i did with my Promethean rig:
Don't let its apparent lack of robustness put you off - I do exactly that with a Shuttle 6 and 2 Aggy GS112s - the Markbass gizmo works fine.
6.
I have one too. However I prefer the Pedulla Buzz (which I also have). That's why the suggestions here can only be suggestions for the OP, and he then need to go and try all the basses in question and make up his own mind. Edit: Also when I play my Lightwave bass it sounds nothing like the clip above, which is why IMO these clips are of limited value and are no substitute for your own hands on experience.
Completely agree re: the value of suggestions - we can only put out suggestions to try. I know what you mean about the sound of these YouTube clips versus what the bass really sounds like in the flesh. I found that the output was very high from the VL5 but once I'd had a fiddle with the trim pots it was great. A little EQ on this goes a long way, too.
7. For something different, howzabout this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RheshR-9Q0w Yes, I own one and I love it. Very light weight too.
8. John Martyn - Solid Air. Sublime bass by Danny Thompson.
9. I've just completed a trade with David (eubassix) - his EUB for my Precision. David's a great guy to deal with, knows his stuff re: packing and shipping and was in touch throughout the whole process. The experience for me was an example of what makes this community, and the people who hang out here, great. Thanks again, David. Buy, sell and trade with confidence!
10.
I got an iGig bag recently (as recommended to me in a similar thread some time ago by Doddy - many thanks ), by far the best bass gig bag I've ever had. Very well padded out, good construction & a lot of storage space.
This. I have the bag that takes two basses and it's a great piece of kit. Not exactly cheap, though.
11. Traded out for a fantastic EUB courtesy of eubassix
12. Sold pending the usual, folks.
13. Wednesday bump. Bit more interest and the possibility of a very nice EUB, but nothing finalised.
14. Hi Higgie, I have a CIJ P bass FT if you're interested (with cash adjustment). Link here: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/157848-new-trade-options-fsft-non-export-japanese-precision-pb62-us-3ts/page__fromsearch__1 If not, thanks for looking and have a bump on me. Great playing on the vids, mate! Cheers, Dave.
15. Sunday bump. Some initial interest and trade options on offer, but nothing finalised yet.
16. Any interest in this? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/157848-price-drop-fsft-non-export-japanese-precision-pb62-us-3ts/#entry1404035 Only 4 strings but worth asking. Have a bump for a lovely EUB!
17. Saturday bump. Now also interested in an EUB with cash adjustment as necessary. Roll up roll up!
18.
Ooooh like it but bass maxed out at the moment. Good luck Dave
Thanks, Dave. Things sure are slow at the moment.
19. Pics and more info now up - Bump!
20. Hi All, I have a Japanese non-export Precision in 3 tone sunburst up for trade/sale... Now traded - thanks for your interest.
21.
I know!
I'm still interested, but need to move my Precision on first...
22.
As I've decided to try and find another precision, I'm letting my jazz go... Tradewise, I'm looking for a Precision that plays and sounds as good as this. I'm based in Leeds, but I'm in Loughborough most weekends.
That is one cracking looking Jazz. Dear me, I keep away from this forum for ages quite happy with my lot and then have an instant GAS attack the moment I log on again! Would you be interested in a 62RI 3TS non-export Japanese Precision (the PB62-US model with Alder body, US pickups, spiral bridge)? If so, drop me a PM and I can send pictures, serial number, weight and/or anything else you might need. I'm planning a trip up to see relatives in Nottingham, so might be able to arrange a meet-up. If not, best of luck and have a bump on me
23.
Yes it's market research in its earliest form. Hope you friendly hard gigging lot don't mind!
I use two cabs, but angle one up with a Markbass wedge - does that count?
