3.
There seems to be a lot of love for cheap basses on the forums, so lets have a cheap bass thread. Bass must have cost no more than £180 (you don't have to tell us how much it cost) I'll start with my Squier P bass special. Massive shout out to Grangur for finding it for me Come on, get your cheap ones out.
i really like the look of this bass
4. oh chuffi ell !
5. Sorry for the delay , I have finally had a moment to take some pictures of the bass
6. Price drop to £1100 Up for sale is this NS Design , CR5 , 5 string , Electric Upright Bass. This is a fantastic EUB that comes with the top quality chrome bass stand not the newer plastic version. There is a padded gig bag for the bass and a smaller one for the metal bas stand. The bass is the same colour as the one pictured here - http://www.nedsteinb...ents/crbass.php These EUB basses really do sound like a double bass and with a turn of the bass eq you can get very varied tones from the instrument. I am asking £1400 including UK postage. May consider trades for : : EBS Proline speaker cabs : Yamaha TRB 5Pii , Maple top. : Yamaha Nathan East , Mk 2 , Thanks for looking Chris
7.
Would love to help out... but I'm up North. As Bernie is on the South Coast too, I'm sure many of his basses have migrated across towards you. If you can, try out both a neck-through and one of Bernie's bolt-ons which are great too and have a super-secure six bolt join. The 'B' string are fantastic, ring out well, are usable all the way up the neck and have a consistent tone with the rest.
Thanks for your reply , really appreciated
8. bump to the top. any cash offers for this fantastic cab ?

15. It's really hard getting rid of trapped gas......... im not so bad with amps and cabs........ its basses that really give me bad gas
16. I will take pictures of the bridge and control cavity this evening
17.
The knobs are the same as those included with the Seymour Duncan STC-3. Does the volume knob pull out, boosting the treble and bass?
Yes , second knob in from the neck is "push/pull"
18.
Lovely bass! Big chunk of missing info though bud, what has happened with the preamp? Extra stacked knob from stock there
As far as i'm aware this bass is standard
19. I have decided to remove this bass from sale as I wrongly thought that this was all original. removed until i know more about what i have
