4.
Didn't see this thread, here's a couple more..
This bass looks great! I love White bass guitars with maple boards and White block inlays , they look the best !
 5.
It's their 'extended b' - an optional feature that's supposed to make the b-string feel more taut. Not sure about that, physics seems to dictate that the 'give' in a string would be at it's minimum with excess string length. (Since every meter of the string will stretch some when pulled, every additional inch will add string that will stretch...) But Fodera famously arrive at their design choices through experimentation, not theory. Sure, theory informs stuff, but they build prototypes and test it out.
Cool , thanks for the explanation
 6. Out of interest, I have never played or seen a fodera bass up close before Is it standard for the B string to to be strung like this on a Fodera ? http://basschat.co.uk/uploads/monthly_12_2012/post-17795-0-96879100-1355825242.jpg

 14.
"Look wrong" to who, exactly? I've walked on stage carrying a ridiculous variety of basses over the last few years. Not one punter has ever come up to me afterwards and said "You looked really naff playing that". In all fairness, and for the sake of balance, I should also mention that not one punter has ever come up to me afterwards and said "You looked really cool playing that" either. Punters don't care. Landlords don't care. Your own bandmates don't care. If you want it, then do it.
spot on Jack

 17. Rick your collection looks just fantastic up on the wall! I could look at those bass guitars all day What a beautiful collection , much more fun that hanging a picture on the wall I love the whole display but I particularly like the little extras , like the tweed guitar case stand? The fender wall logo's and the '52 bass man amp ! That's my faviorate. Is the tweed guitar case a vintage item or something that is currently on the Market ? Thanks for sharing the pics Rick it is really appreciated as you don't get to see such great examples like this everyday.
