I would recommend the TRB 5 that "bubinga" currently has up for sale. And you could save yourself £500 squids -

2011 has been the hardest year for my family. For many of us in the UK things have been hard this year , money, health, family ,work to name but a few. But I believe that 2012 is an opportunity for fresh start and I hope that 2012 is all that you wish for Happy new year to you all Chris
Hello! Just found the post too. I play at Woodlands Church in Bristol. A big church with lots of different styles - a great place. Lakland 5560. I've posted an embarrassing clip of me rehearsing at church for a service before. At the risk of looking like an egomaniac, it's here http://youtu.be/UR5xecByNBs Nice to see fellow B Bashers on here... Liam
Nice version, grooooovin It is fantastic to see a video of Christian worship being played and posted on bass chat Has anyone got anymore of their "church" playing videos ?
And here it is, my Xmas present from myself! This bass is beautiful! Photos don't do it justice, it must be seen live to appreciate the colours. Tone wise it has plenty of growl and piano-like highs, with a bit of knob twisting it can access a good range of sounds, even if the mids knob is really really sensitive. Chording is a pleasure! I don't slap much, but for the little I tried I'm really comfortable with the string spacing, and for the fingerstyle now I'm just a couple days into it but I'm already getting comfortable with that (coming from a 6stringer with narrower spacing). The neck is fast. I LOVE the impressive width of the fingerboard...aircraft landing size! Construction quality is really top notch, the top has a nice contrast, and I LOVE the pearl tuners...Inlay work is beautiful too!! I'll bring it to do some setup (the action can be set lower and I'd like that ) and it needs small sanding on the 21th fret, G string height (there is a small bump in the fret). Probably will get a removable ebony ramp as well All in all, I'm still in the process of 'feeling at home' with the instrument, but I'm already loving it! Happy holidays everyone!!
Your christmas present to yourself looks beautiful ! you are very kind to yourself

Up for sale is a near mint Warwick Streamer stage 1 , six string bass guitar . I am putting this bass up for sale on behalf of my friend Steve. Thought that I would bump this thread up the list a bit

What I love about my precision is that you pick it up , plug it into your amp , turn your amp on and out of the speakers comes a great bass sound No faffing around with thousands of dials and switches to find a great tone. It's just there Simple and I love it
My amp is on top of the cab but I put 2 thick pieces of foam in between so the amp doesn't rattle to pieces. I started doing this when I had all tube amps and just carried on with the SS amps I use now.
I do the same and for exactly the same reason. I found some thick foam at work and my wife kindly made me some black covers to go over the foam and the finish looks just like my speaker cab.

I have not owned that many bass rigs compared to some hardcore members on BC but i just wanted to share the Epifani love. I bought my first piece of Epi gear not long after i joined BC. I love the power / weight / tone and punch from this stuff and just wanted to see if there is much gear being used by Bass Chat members at gigs. I will post pictures of my current gear in the next few days but my current list goes like this ............................... - Epifani UL 502 Amp - Epifani UL 110 cab - Epifani UL 210 cab - Epifani UL 410 cab all cab's are series 1. Here they are - http://s1237.photobu...horton/Epifani/ Lets see what ya got
