Plays and sounds very pleasing and i am chuffed as its my first attempt at a build, soldering and setting up etc.
That bass looks great, Where did you get the scratchplate ??? did you make it ?
4. Looking forward to seeing the pictures of your wal
5. Hi, I would recomend either of the basses in the links below - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=146725&hl=trb http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=146959&hl=trb Both basses would be very different but great sound and playability for not much dosh

8.
Don't shout at me all you 5 and 6 stringers but I thought I would address the lack of 4 string TRB's with my lovely brown satin TRB4 which I've had since new from 1994. This is one of the best basses I've ever played and owned and I will NEVER get rid, absolutely love it
I love the look of your 4 stringer It looks ver similar to a black 4 string TRB that Mike Rutherford played with "Genisis"
9.
Has that been defretted? If so, looks like a good job, perhaps a luthier has been over it?
I am as sure as i can be that the bass was produced in the Yamaha factory as a fretless. The bass has a great tone and has the best neck shape / profile of all the TRB's that i have owned, very easy to play.
10. Just wanted to share some pictures of my latest bass guitar. It's a Yamaha TRB fretless mk 1
11. I really like the AC bass guitars . One day I will get one. These pictures are not helping with my GAS
12. Does anyone know when the new range of Epifani amps will be on sale in the UK ? I see on the Epifani website that they have specs etc but i guess that it is American sales only at the moment ?
13.
Blonde sunbathing
That is a truly sweet bass What year is it ?
14.
This is the badboy for me.. awsome bass..
I have the 5 string version of this bass in the same finish and it is awesome! I'd love to check out the 6 string at some point. It would probably weigh about the same as a small planet though
15.
Do they still make the TRB6ps? I know a new line of TRBs are coming out before too long and have been designed in collab. with Mark from Bass direct I'd personally make sure i had one with Piezos and i'd be happy! All the sound clips of the TRB6ps i've heard have been awesome, but whats the actual difference?
No, they don't make the Trb6p's anymore. You can only get them second hand. I had no idea that there were new TRB's on the way ! Very exciting ! Do you have any details / specs of the instruments ?
16. Do any fellow trb6 string players think it is worth the extra cash to go from a TRB 6ii to a TRB6p ??
17. As the title ........... I own a TRB 5pII and a TRB 6 II and love them both. They both sound very different . Can anyone please tell me if there is much difference in tone between the TRB6 , TRB6p , TRB6 II & TRB6pII ? Has anyone played / owned any of the above ?? I have been watching the " dirty Loops" the bass player uses a TRB6p. I have also been watching " Magazine gap" tim the bass layer uses a TRB 6 pII. I have some real bad gas for a TRB 6p now ! I don't think that i can hold it in for much longer
18. I love the look of these guitars but never had the chance to try one of these out. Is there much tone difference between the Pino and USA standard precision?
19.
You'd be better off just listening rather than watching the videos. As soon as you see the bassist's haircut you'll be wanting to punch him in the face because of his stupid haircut! Nice tone though. [/quote I will let him off but only because the dude can really play
20. Another bounce
21. I just had a thought ............ If you like the sound of a TRB then check out "magazine gap" a real tight funky / jazzy / pop sort of band . Tim ( bass player ) uses a Yamaha TRB 6 pII. The album is well worth getting a copy of.
22. I have just bought a TRB 5 mark 1 fretless from a fellow BC member. It is a stunning looking and sounding instrument. I will get some pictures up on here soon
23.
its a 3 peice band doing jazzy/funky covers of pop songs, bass player uses a TRB6 with the piezo pick up i think http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NV10C5wrajA
Thanks for posting the link , They are tighter than a ducks butt !!
24.
Let me guess, you watched the Dirty Loops vids and now you have TRB gas?
What is the dirty loops vid's ? Could you please point me in the right direction, im a real TRB fan
