    Referring back to a some previous posts about the church Tech Teams and sound engineers, I have to say that I can't fault my lot, they definitely know what they're doing and they always get a great sound. This came in very handy yesterday as I played acoustic and sang for the first time since I switched churches back in June (and I'm just getting over a snotty cold). I'm strictly rhythm and what I lack in finesse, I make up for in enthusiasm 😁 .

    That's one of my favourite albums of all time too, I love UFO and I love Phil Moggs voice. I'm embracing the album for what it is and I'm enjoying the different voices on the album, I never thought I'd hear Biff Byford singing UFO but now I have and I quote like it 😀.

    @Jackroadkill I know exactly what you mean by it being fizzy, I still get moments where the nerves decide to randomly come alive for no reason and my fingers feel like I'm being electrocuted LOL. Hopefully you won't have any lasting nerve damage or numbness as that feels weird. I've accidently cut and burnt my fingers a few times over the years as I can't feel them and, cutting my fingernails is aways an odd experience. The worst part for me is that my hand always feels stiff, it feels like I'm wearing a rubber glove, over a rubber glove, over a rubber glove and then trying to move my hand normally.

    @Jackroadkill I hope you're healing well. This thread proves that whilst we can throw money at different basses, amps, pickups, leads and strings etc, the most important thing we have is our hands. Back in 2010 I had an accident at work and my left hand went through a window. I completely severed the median nerve and completely severed both tendons, as a result I now have little to no feeling in my left thumb and the first two fingers on my left hand, I didn't play for over a year but now, I play in my church's worship team and I hardly notice the loss of feeling. Look after your hands.

    @ossyrocks It made me so happy to read your post, I’m also a very lucky husband, my wife Sue encourages my guitar playing 100% and I have never had to hide a single bass etc. We support each other totally and that’s what makes a great marriage.

    @Supernaut I’m surprised you want to change them, I play a 40th Anniversary P-Bass and it’s the best sounding bass I’ve played. I have La Bella Deep Talkin’ Flats on mine and everybody comments on how great she sounds. I wouldn’t change mine, they’re staying 😁👍🏻

    @bass_dinger It’s no wonder, 10 weeks on the bounce is too much for anyone. The most I ever did was 9 and that left me frazzled, take a break, you’ve earned it.

    I’d like to add Wayfair to the list. After not delivering an item I bought, they kept telling me that it was in transit, out of the blue they refunded my money claiming that the item had been discontinued. If it had been discontinued, how could it have ever been in transit? The item that was supposedly ‘in transit’ never materialised.

    With reference to the ‘banned’ songs, there are always going to be songs that at least one member of the band doesn’t like but as I see it, it might be the favourite song of someone in the congregation and, it might’ve made their day to sing it. Having said that, I’d be happy to give ‘My Lighthouse’ a miss for a while 😂
