1. Hi. I am looking to sell this bass has I no longer play 5 strings. Nothing has been changed on the bass (all stock) and it is in very good condition. I am looking for £150 and I am in Coventry. This bass also comes with a gig bag. This bass can now be delivered for £25. No Paypal please - I would want cash in hand (if picked up) or a cheque (if delivered); please allow 5 days for clearence. There are some pictures below of the bass and there is nothing that affects playability, just a few minor scracthes on the back and very small blemishes on the bridge and machine heads but as said these are very minor things. Otherwise the bass is in good condition and is great to play. The RBX765 was the predecessor to the RBX775. The bass colour is translucent blue. If you are interested in buying the bass PM me. PM me if you have any questions. Tom
 2. Cheers for the bump! It is a fantatsic bass and like I said It is only being sold because I play my Sledgehammer more and this just sits in its case.
 3.
It's too hard to call. Some of the boss stuff is really great - and at least it's mostly "original designs" vs Behringer's blatant rip-offs.
And if we still had "original designs" we'd all be playing Fenders still. The Behringer BDI21 easily matches the Sansamp BDDI in sound, just not on build quality. Still a fantastic pedal.
 4.
I had a four string shark with the chrome pup, it sounded superb, however...this version had serious neck issues - my one was no different - couldn't be fixed! information came from a tech who had worked on every status shark 4 sold from the chain of shops. you may have just gotten lucky!
Well my neck is superb...
 5. I am putting these cabinets up for sale as I have no need for a 8x10 at the moment. Both cabinets are in absolute mint condition with just a few scratches to the corner protectors (pics on request). I do not have the boxes for these and I would hate to think of the delivery cost so it would be pickup only from Coventry - cash on collection. Specs: Precision-Tuned And Calibrated Cabinet Design Four Hartke 10" TP Aluminum-Cone Bass Drivers Power Handling: 300 Watts @ 8 Ohms Frequency Response: 40 Hz To 4 kHz Sensitivity: 96 dB @ 1 W/1 M Voice Coil: 1.5" Magnet Weight: 40 Oz. Parallel 1/4" Input Jacks Dimensions: 24"(H) X 24"(W) X 15"(D) Weight: 65 lb - 29.5 kg.* *These are not Neo cabinets yet I've seen many Neo 4x10's weigh much more than 65lb. £120 each or £220 for both. PM me for more info or pics. So there is no confusion, these cabs can be bought individually. Tom
 6. Here is your chance to own a massively underated Status bass. It is a Status Shark 4 string and is passive. It is in overall good condition but does have a few marks and a bit of buckle rash on the back as shown in the photos. The scratchplate is a little warped in places but this is not obvious and does not affect its playability. It plays fine and the neck is very nice with no issues. I'd be looking for £200 and for an extra £30, a Hiscox Status hardcase in excellent condition. The reason I'm selling is because now I have my Dean Sledgehammer, this won't be getting played much. Unfortunately it's pick up only in Coventry due to the box being thrown away by accident. Would be cash on collection. Pics: PM me if you have any questions. Tom

 17.
What gets me is the unnecessary name dropping that goes on. For (hypothetical) example we don't get 'I carry my lead and strings in my gig bag', instead we get 'I carry my lead and strings in my Shuker/Alembic/Wal (delete/add as appropriate) gig bag'. Sure there are discussions where the details of the kit are required, but so often it's not yet we are given it anyway. Similarly great lists of the basses and kit you have attached to your posts is surely not required. We only need to know that your a bass player, and everything else can be revealed as and when appropriate? OK, Rant over. I'm ducking already.
I know what you mean. They always bring something pointless into the equation but to Joe public that name could mean Tesco value! Another thing that get's my goat is whenever you buy an instrument - other musicians always ask how much it cost. It's like if it is below a certain price it's not good, but if it's above a certain price then it must be excellent. One guy I knew got a Gibson LP Studio for Xmas and was banging on about how it cost £750, was made in America etc. We compared it to another guy's guitar - a Washburn WI200E, basically Washburn's twist on a LP but with EMG's - which cost him £300. The Washburn blew the Gibbo out the water. How we laughed at him.
 18. Damn those blondes!
 19. There are thousands of basses that sound better than Fenders/Musicmans. Then there have been the tests to see if you could tell the difference between a £50 P bass and a Fender MIA P bass. Half the people who guessed were wrong. Just goes to show a lot of people only buy because of the badge.
 20.
I agree, i think everyone should get it (apart from kids with jobs)
So because I've made the effort to get off my backside go out and get a job, I don't deserve to get EMA? All the shifts I do, I work hard to get the money. But because you made a half-arsed attempt (if any) to go get a job you feel you should get EMA for just turning up to lessons while people who do have a job don't deserve it because apart from turning up to lessons also, they are doing shifts on a Saturday maybe Sunday too yet don't deserve EMA because they are getting money after going out and finding work. [/rant] Sorry Luke, back to basses!
 21. Fortunately when I was 15 I realised that it's hard to get a job and no job = no money. I wouldn't have got EMA and don't like asking for money off my parents and never have asked for money off them (unlike some kids...). Fortunately I was lucky and got a decent part-time job.
 22.
4. In a lot of cases, they really don't need the money and could just get a job
This is one thing that really annoys me. My mate said he would try and get a job for the summer (He get's EMA so dosen't get it in the summer - ha!). He said he couldn't get one because he was busy - HE HAD 10 WEEKS TO GET A JOB AND NO COURSEWORK TO DO! I know for a fact he did nothing the whole summer.
