1.
It says XLR out on the left hand side, surely it does? Only thing it doesn't have is the blend control and bite button.
Whoops, my bad!
2. Bump bump.
3. Bumparoo.
4. That version does not have the DI out option.
5. Good to see Zander Zon on the list - always rated his playing.
6. Nice!
7. Finally got to A-B the BBM and DBBM last week. The DBBM was nice with a lot of choices tone wise but IMO it wasn't worth blowing an extra £90 on a pedal I already have that sounds the same bar no blending options.
8. Bumptastic.
9. Generally speaking, a bass tone sitting well in the mix will sound crap soloed.
10. Bumpage.
11. Jeez, it's just a band audition. What next? Wash behind your ears, put on a fresh bra etc... Turn up on time, play to the best of your ability, if they like you, go for it - if not then stuff 'em!
12. Any Fender > iPad.
13. Bumpy!
14. Never thought the words 'Behringer' and 'Two grand' would be heard in the same sentence!
15. Any other experiences with this? I really liked my BBM but like said, missed the blend option. Close to pulling the trigger though!
16. Tye Zamora. +Infinity
17. Oh God, a bass player who is known and has been in successful bands - I would much prefer an unknown who has done a session with Miles playing reggae in 11/8 timing.
18. Exact same pedal - save yourself a tenner for not having Korg on the box.
19. Bump!
20. PLEASE DELETE
21.
I do, I've bought quite a few things "to try" knowing that I won't make much loss on them if it doesn't work out.
Why buy it then if you know you're not going to keep it? I go to my local music shop "to try" stuff out.
22.
For some people, resale value is a major consideration. A used Fender will usually command a higher price second hand than any handmade one-off. There is also the (very long term!) potential for appreciation. Not that I'm bothered about such things, but some people are.
Yeah for sure, though I don't buy a bass with regards to how much I will get for it when I sell it.
23.
ACG 4 string dual pickup passive - £785 (plus a few months wait time I suspect) MIA American Special Jazz, black, maple neck, current model - £696.55 via Thomann, free delivery of course, and available now. MIA American Standard Jazz, black, maple neck., current model. £1025.68, giving you the high mass bridge and custom shop pickups and a hard case (if you want to spend the extra on those things). and available now, of course. So really the price of Fenders if you shops wisely is not so excessive.
I don't know if you have played an ACG but the QC is very impressive - why buy a Fender when you can have a quality hand made instrument with your choice of options for (pretty much) the same price? No brainer to me.
24. I think a lot of people are getting confused about the 'sound like me' thing. When I say 'sound like me', I'm not talking about the tone of the bass.
25. Top horn at nipple height for me - I'm a player not a poser.
