I have the base gnome and it’s great - loud and small (and cheap!) but I do sort of miss extra features like the 4 band E.Q. on the 600w and an fx loop too

Hello people Bit of a random question but does anyone here know of really slim power patch cables? I've got a few MXR pedals with the side power jacks on my board and the ones that came with my MXR mini iso brick are a bit bulky and stop me packing them as close as I want to! If anyone has any experience with some nice thin ones please let me know

Hi people I just had a look at the fender Japan website (set your location to Japan) and saw that they have so much cool stuff that is so much more interesting than the stuff we get to pick from imo. There these signatures that are really nice with unique pickup placement etc and it made me sad that we don’t have those options too I get that some of the famous bassists there wont be as popular in the uk and us but some of the other stuff like heritage/traditional series would be cool to have on top. There might be a valid reason for it tho

Yes I might try that - only thing is he said to me that it would be £1146 which is quite a lot above my max...I may just keep a look out on those used websites btw if anyone sees anything similar or is thinking of selling please do PM

Hi all 👋 First post here so please be nice 😬 Basically, I am looking for a jazz bass style bass finished in nitro for around £850. Ideally with stacked knobs and all that flea sig-like goodness, but any 60s style nitro jazz would be great. Why nitro? Well, I really like the idea of aging a bass myself as I play it and gig with it - this will ideally be my number 1 for a while, so it having changed as I play it is quite appealing. The sound I like is like the tone in ‘Charlie’ by rhcp (can you see the theme here) but I realise I can always get closer to that further down the line. So, what have I looked at so far? Well: MJT build kit (will be over budget when electronics are bought and is reliant on scoring an eBay body cheaply) Limelight (looks awesome but may have to sell my sire which I kinda like) Reverb etc (there is one lovely burgundy mist one in the uk b it again, out of budget irritatingly) Flea sig used (possibly out of budget but depends on the used market) and I’m also looking out on bassbros, bass gallery and stuff. Anyway, after all that waffle, I would rly appreciate it if I could tap in to the reservoir of knowledge that is Basschat to point me in the right direction or tell me that im just dreaming (which is a possibility) Thanks people
