    Quick question... I have just acquired the Demeter Pre in which i'm going to change with the stock Yamaha TRB Pre, i am going to leave out the Piezo for the moment (maybe invest in buffer later) but on inspection there is two wires from bridge/neck pups leading back to the jack socket (in the TRB) are these just earths? and can anyone tell me how i could define bridge neck pup wiring on my new pre amp? Thanks in advance Steve

    I have a hydrive 8x10 which i no longer use, amazing cab great range and power to boot. Couple of small nicks in tolex but otherwise perfect condition. Will sell for [size=6][u][b]350[/b][/u][/size] GBP or trade for portable head (Little mark etc)

    Looking to trade my Yammy TRB 6P for a 4/5 string jazz bass or jazz styled bass (Lakland G&L etc) Want a change so looking for a good solid sounding bass with a good slap tone, anything interesting out there? Theres a couple of small dings on the yammy, nothing totally noticeable, early 90's made in the Kaohshiung plant. (i have replaced the pots since the pic was taken) Not many of these around.

    For that budget maybe a second hand valve head? Peavey Valveking? Mesa Dual rec/ Engl fire ball would be ideal....

    I've played and sold many TRB's and i know they are amazing clear sounding basses, but in my honest opinion they don't hold the greatest slap tone, i have heard of people switching aguilar pre amps with the TRB for such desired effect...

    The way the bass plays is great and the versatility from the Piezo is amazing but I feel it lacks that bottom end thump (Like my Spector with EMG's, obviousley different kettles of fish) i have my Sans amp bass driver which helps on this quest but i think a possible onboard pre amp lift could be an idea...

    Looking to switch up my preamp in the TRB6, want bit more definition on low/hi end and a beefy slap tone, anyone have any ideas? Anyone done this very mod to their TRB and have sound clips etc? Cheers Steve

Peter [/quote] The Kaohsuing factory is in Taiwan i believe, i think i'am going to get the bass. I will post up feedback on the bass after i set it up/re-string etc

    It is a thru-neck with piezo but made in the Kaohisung factory? Trans blue finish Ebony finger board, bit scuffed but a thru neck trb 6 has always been on my shopping list... cheers for the help guys

    I have the chance to pick up a TRB6P, it is made in Taiwan in the early 90's. Any info? I would usually stick to Japanese TRBS but is there a MAJOR DIFFERENCE?
