  1. If the Sushi Box Bee Pre doesn’t go to the person who has it on hold mate then drop me a message as I’d love one of them!
  2. Needs must unfortunately - I overstretched buying it, but I’m hoping I’m able to ride it out and keep it 🤞
  3. I absolutely love this bass, however circumstances mean I have to pull some of the money out of it, if I manage to resolve things otherwise I will withdraw it (and I genuinely hope that is what I end up doing) 2019 Mayones Jabba Classic 5/24 fret in Dirty Sunburst. Paid £1600 for this second hand from Bass Direct at the beginning of last month, and it is the best 5 string bass I’ve played by a mile Original Bass Direct listing that I bought from is here 👇 (if you’d like to see how to properly take photos of a bass, rather than my feeble efforts!) https://www.bassdirect.co.uk/product/mayones-jabba-5-dirty-sunburst-pre-owned/ Bass is in good condition, not excellent as it has a few dings in it, but it’s a million miles from looking rough, it’s just not showroom pristine (it’s exactly as it came to me, I’ve not added any) it has a couple on the back of the neck and some small ones around the edge (I’ve done my best to photograph them) but they’re really not very noticeable It has been modified by the previous owner with hum cancelling Bartolini Pickups and a John East Uni-5 preamp, and so as I’m sure you can imagine the bass sounds absolutely amazing, as well as having no single coil hum. Preamp is 3 band with a separate passive tone control (that works in passive & active mode), passive/active switch, stacked bass/treble, parametric mids, blend & volume - it is unquestionably the best on board preamp I’ve used The neck is really comfortable, it is 34.25” scale and has a tremendous B String which is very articulate all the way up & down, with 19mm string spacing & 43mm nut You’re welcome to come and try the bass out - I’m in County Durham DH2, but it is an absolute top quality instrument in terms of sound and playability. Comes with a really nice padded/embroidered Mayones gigbag Product Specs: Serial Number: JAB1901343 Origin: Poland Year: 2019 Body Material: Alder, flame maple Colour: Dirty Sunburst Finish: Gloss Neck Finish: Satin Neck Material: Maple Fingerboard: Rosewood Inlays: Blocks, side dots Pickups: Bartolini Electronics: John East Controls: Volume, pickup pan, bass/treble, mid/mid freq, tone, active/passive switch Pickguard: Tortoiseshell Hardware: Chrome Gig Bag/Case: Gigbag Accessories: N/A Frets: 24 String Spacing: 19mm Nut Width: 43mm Scale Length: 34.25” Weight: 9lbs13oz/4.5kg Reduced to £1,395 OVNO for a cash sale, or I’ll take a cheaper PX with cash my way. Looking for: 5 string (possibly a 4 if it’s either a fantastic deal or a really special bass but preference is for a 5) Lakland DJ5/55-60, Fender Jazz, Yamaha BBP/higher end BB, MTD etc - no junk but list is not exhaustive so just send pics over of your offers - I am looking to clear at least £300-£400 min really alongside the PX, just as a guide, although I’ve got other listings up so that could change PICS BELOW 👇
  4. Large Tourtech Pedalboard with Soft case (Model: TTPB-6-T) cost new: £79.99 although I think I actually bought it on here, I’m not sure - it’s still not been used either way! Dimensons: 600mm x 305mm x 85mm Price reduced - £30 inc postage PMT Link (£79.99) https://www.pmtonline.co.uk/tourtech-pedal-board-with-soft-case-large?gclsrc=aw.ds&&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=2309_PMT_BAU_Search_Google+Ads_Shopping_Own+Brand&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD2v6zUIIqIPhlquTOntEvgfCnqBG&gclid=Cj0KCQjw782_BhDjARIsABTv_JBhj9TjeH4E_HWE1YMfnqjWwvOlbgIMAua8D5wZoi5zbb6EqFd6GugaAsGGEALw_wcB
  5. Mono Betty strap in size L - it’s too long for me, so would gladly trade for a similar quality strap in a Small/Medium otherwise it’s a bargain price of £25 posted! Condition is good - been gigged but it’s still in good nick, no frayed edges or looking worn out (looks a bit dusty in the pics as I put it on the shed floor to take a photo of it and it’s obviously as filthy as the Mrs keeps claiming it is 🤦‍♂️)
  6. For sale is my Nordstrand Audio Starlifter Preamp/DI. This is an absolutely fantastic preamp - Bass is 70hz, Parametric mids and Treble is at 6khz but it’s by no means your standard 3B EQ - it is incredibly musical, and it’s virtually impossible to get a bad sound from it. The best feature are the 2 preset contours, “Modern” and “Vintage” - I’ll post some videos below, but this is Andy Irvine’s preamp of choice for live work which says a lot about how good it is - honestly if you plug a passive bass into it (or active bass flat) and then select the Modern contour, the sound is absolutely perfect. I suggest having a look through YouTube at all the different vids on it, you’ll hear how good it is These are £285 new at BassDirect and worth every penny and more, I’d like to keep it but I’m having to have a bit of a clear out unfortunately. I bought it on here a couple of months back and so I’ll let it go for the same price I paid. I bought it without a power supply as it’s a 12v AC power supply, so I have bought one and include it in the sale £130 + £5 postage
  7. TC Electronic Mojomojo overdrive pedal/preamp. Fantastic pedal that punches way above its weight - does Motown/B15 through to heavy OD (or at least what I would consider heavy OD!) Runs on normal 9v pedal board power, dual lock underneath which can be removed if you prefer **Now £25 (inc postage)** Good video on it here:
  8. Something has come up which I don’t quite have the money for, so I am letting my Empress Bass Compressor go very cheap whilst it’s still available - if what I want to buy goes before this is sold I’ll pull the listing as I’d much rather keep it than sell it cheap but needs must if GAS is to be satisfied! Pedal works perfectly, is in good condition (see pics) has been gigged so isn’t perfect cosmetically but only if you’re splitting hairs, it’s still in VGC, comes in original box etc Price is £125 inc postage - like I say I’ll pull it if what I’m after goes Cheers
  9. 😂😂😂😂 that actually made me LOL 😁
  10. I would LOVE a Jule Simone - seriously considering ordering one later in the year, what do you make of it?
  11. If postage ever becomes an option please DM me @Lozz196 and let me know, this would have sold within a week if it had been I think
  12. TC Spectracomp is well underrated - totally agree it’s a fantastic compressor. Some of the pre-dialled in settings available on Toneprint sound fantastic, I mean I’ve got an Empress because GAS obviously, but have had and would still have no issue doing gigs with a Spectracomp on my board
  13. I regret selling basses all the time, so then I just buy another one to cheer myself up 😂 I got this in trade and I’ve reduced it to the least I can justify it owing me so I don’t feel too bad - some mental/mathematical gymnastics but I can just about say it owes me this (in reality it’s £750 tho haha)
  14. Reduced to £675 - if it doesn’t sell for that I think I’ll just give up 😁
  15. £725! Blimey things are slow these days - this is good of a bass as you’ll pick up for this price!
  16. The newer MTD Kingston’s are ridiculously good quality - more like how Lakland Skylines are to Lakland US. The Andrew Gouche is well known to be the very best of the Kingston range too, I’d absolutely love to have one of these, I’ve also dealt with Steff before and he’s as legit as they come
  17. That Moon is a beauty - I was wondering if that was sold or just withdrawn. I’m glad you still have it cos maybe you decide to sell it in future when I’ve got some money!! 🤣
  18. Lovely this, and £1350 is a great price for a MIJ Metroline. I love the Fender style knobs on the preamp - great touch, very in keeping with the look of the bass. I’ve never known a man to have such an epic collection of 4 string Jazz’s as you Jay! 😁
  19. Now £750! A very good price for a MIJ Geddy! Poss PX+Cash trades added as well ☺️
  20. Reduced to £795 - won’t be going any cheaper than this. Can ship within the UK - got plenty packaging to get it to you safely
  21. I’ve had no issues at all mate - but welcome to hear others experiences on other MIJ Geddy’s, it’s been spot on for me, never missed a beat and no issues with neck stability at all
