  1. Really decent Autowah/Filter pedal from Eden. Comes Boxed with power supply. This is a LOT better than the price suggests - super solidly made, really great tones, only selling as I’m having a clear out to fund another 5 string jazz 😝 Reduced to £30 inc Delivery! Couple of YouTube demos of the pedal: Pics:
  2. Eden Astroflange Flanger Pedal. These are a lot better than the price suggests but they were sold at Gear4music really cheap for a while, it’s a lot better than the flanger on things like the Zoom B3N and the Boss Gt1B, and for £20 it’s for nothing 😆 Really well made & heavy duty pedal too - Eden make good gear, it’s not cheap sh1te like Behringer etc that will inevitably knack up at a gig *Reduced - Now £20 inc Postage* Comes boxed in original box and packed up so it’ll arrive safely
  3. That’s a very good deal - these are absolutely excellent basses
  4. I prefer the gen 1 neck as long as the decal’s changed - I don’t think I could do it tho. I’ve watched vids that make it look fairly easy but I think it’s one of those jobs you could easily screw up!
  5. I think the Gen 1’s are huge value for money, I’m fairly sure it was only the first batch that was ropey and it can all get sorted out. I really like the new ones but no way am I forming out almost a grand on one - I’ll wait and see if any are going cheaper used in a year, but I think it’s gonna take time for the sales of the new ones to get going as there’s so many cheap decent Gen 1’s about. I know @dub_junkie is a big fan of them Gen 1’s and has said ti me a few times that once you’ve set them up properly they’re absolutely excellent. If I knew how to redo the awful decal I’d probably have 5 of the 1st Gen’s haha 😝
  6. Totally agree - I’ve just done all my money on a Japanese Sadowsky but if I wasn’t spent up then this is a steal 😯
  7. Dimarzio Ultra Jazz are the highest output jazz pickups I’ve had - fantastic clarity and low end too
  8. I’ve played on a few Butlin’s big weekenders, booked in for a couple more in Skegness and one in Bognor Regis this year - they’re really good gigs. There’s always a big crowd who get right into the swing of things and theres usually some other really good acts on to watch as well
  9. I’ve put a deposit on one of these - picking it up next week. Fantastic quality basses, bear no resemblance whatsoever to the Chinese MetroExpress’s they’re much more like the Japanese Metroline’s - super light as well, I think every single one from the range was guaranteed under 8.9lbs, I think the main difference to the Metroline’s was just there were a limited number of options in terms of wood/colour etc, but the quality is just the same. Can’t wait to get mine - fantastic basses
  10. Good choice of words! ✈️ 👀
  11. Played Butlin’s Skegness last night - doing a Semi-regular Monday slot there with a Nile Rodgers tribute over the coming season. Decent venue & crowd especially considering the time of year! Rocking my MTD Saratoga 5 just like Bernard Edwards used to play, obviously 👀 😛
  12. Proper beauty that 🤩
  13. Gemma made the mammoth trip oop north to County Durham to do a trade between our short scale basses. Bass is great, whole transaction was easy and she’s a top BC’er - you can deal with her with confidence 👍
  14. It is mate, yes - B string is as good as my Lakland 35” scale tho, if not a little better
  15. It’s really pretty light for a 5, but I’ll have to get on the scales bathroom scales tomorrow and give you a number! I’ll try and do it first thing - it’s been advertised on here before by someone else and I was hoping the weight would be in the thread but no such luck! Will get back to you with it asap, cheers
  16. 😊 Cheers Keir - it’s a cracking bass but it’s not what I need at the mo and I’ve had my head turned now by something else so it’s got to go That being said I can afford to reduce it slightly and still buy the bass I’m after so its now Reduced (for a cash sale) to £995 - if you want to trade then that’s different but to get a quick cash sale it’s £995, which I think personally is an absolute bargain. Shipping can be arranged and I’ll Chuck in a gigbag if that’s the case (but it’ll also be boxed)
  17. Now SOLD - no longer available Sandberg California II VM5 with upgraded 3B Nordstrand preamp (with series/parallel switch & tone control) - £1,095 - can courier it at cost (will include a Fender gigbag & box it up if it needs posting) EDIT: Weight is 4.06KG/ 8.96lbs so pretty lightweight for a 5’er - lovely piece of ash for the body This is a really, really nice bass I got in a trade recently on here, it’s pretty light for a 5 with a nice ash body - the grain of the wood looks amazing close up. It’s in really good condition, nothing wrong with it to speak of Feels like it does absolutely almost everything totally, from vintage Motown P Bass thru to modern fingerstyle funk to Jaco etc - the fingerstyle tone with the blend centered is one of the best bass tones there is (In my humble opinion of course.. 😆) and the quality of the build is obvious as soon as you play it. Tone control works in active and passive mode, series/parallel switch gives you another option with series giving you some real meat to your sound. I mean, I probably don’t need to sell the bass to you if it’s something you’re considering - it’s a great condition Sandberg, it looks awesome and the 3 Band Nordstrand preamp is a step up from the factory fitted 2B that it comes with Im based in County Durham - you’re welcome to come and view/play etc, otherwise I can courier it well packed and insured I’ve seen a bass that I really want so I’m looking for a cash sale ideally, and I don’t think £1,095 is expensive at all for this bass. That being said I am always up for a trade, and I’ll not be offended by you asking - worst I can do is decline. I’d be especially receptive to a Yamaha BBP35 or Lakland DJ5/55-60 (especially one with the John East treatment) or any nice jazz 5 (an equivalent Sandberg TM5/TT5 would be awesome, but Mayones, Fender etc - what you got?) I may consider a nice 4 string jazz, however really I’m after a 5’er. I may also take a cheaper bass + cash like a Lakland 55-01, but just try me with what you have! Any Q’s etc give me a shout! Cheers 👍
  18. Price isn’t too bad really, I think If postage was an option it would probably have gone months ago tbh. Just my opinion - I might be way off the mark 😆
  19. BassDirect have some of the new ones in stock
  20. I don’t offhand but it’s pretty chunky - I’d guess it’s not much off being 10lbs/4.5kg judging by what it weighs compared to my other basses of which I do know the weight. On the plus side just think of all the “resonating” that can be done 😉😆
  21. 100% - it just sounds like a load of old patter and I’m trying to sell my bass 😂😂 but this absolutely wipes the floor in terms of build quality & playability compared to the likes of the Sire V7 and Fender Jazz MIM, even the pickups are good enough to not need replaced
  22. Just done a Bass swap deal via post with Graham - not an easy deal to do logistically at all, but I couldn’t have asked for more tbf. Goes without saying that the bass was exactly as described and well packaged etc, but also he bent over backwards to make sure everything went smoothly. Pleasure to deal with & would be more than happy dealing with him any time
  23. That’s a lot of bass for £750 - these are fantastic basses
