1. I used to have cramp attacks all the time since i was about 20. Now in my fifties. Heard about some people who had worn magnets to help with this, no idea how it was meant to work. Tried wearing one about 15 years ago - never had cramp whilst playing since then. Try them - Bio-flow website address below www.ecoflow.com Jeff
2. Still interested in the other one - can you let me know where to come and see it jeff
3. Quite interested in the 102P. Is it 4 or 8 ohms? - the website states they do a 4 and 8 ohm version. Is it possible to come and try it? Jeff
4. I have always used flats. 15 / 20 years ago it was hard to find them as most shops didn't stock them. Other bass players used to take the mickey. Strange how things change. One day maybe roundwounds will be hard to find in shops? jeff
5. Anyone listened to the new Joe jackson Live CD? Graham Maby is simply one of the best players around. The sound the man achieves is awesome. This is the sort of thing that makes me want to sell all the equipment & take up the tambourine. PS - my new band - Bunny Lane and the Diversions recordings on my space - http://www.myspace.com/569720257 Jeff

7. After the verse the chords are Fminor /// Bb /// G /// Cminor /// repeated 4 times - I play fairly fast over this using root third, (flatened third on Fmin & Cmin) 5th and octave. This will give you the feel of the original whilst not being note perfect The chorus is Ab AbAb AbAb G F Eb F F G BbBb Bb G F G repeated three times D string 6 66 66 5 88 8 A string 8 6 8 8 10 10 8 10 hope this helps jeff
8. Doing this in my current band - Bunny Lane and the Diversions. Will scrawl some notes on the other sections as the verse has been dealt with above and post them this week.

20. Stingray withdrawn - i just cannot part with it. Fender Jazz & Stagg EUB still available
21. In fact Shaun put me down for a definite if the oter deal falls through jeff
22. No difference i'm afraid. The pick ups & bridge are far superior to the originals but i'm not into taking these off and selling them separately. You are welcome to have the originals with the bass if you want them. jeff
23. yes
24. Thanks for the comment. The stingray has no issues, it really is lovely i just cannot justify having four 4 string basses, 2 fretless, 2 electric uprights etc. The only problem i ever had was the G string seeming a little low in volume to my ears, many comments about this on the forum, just depends on your point of view. I will be quite sorry to lose this one but the GB Rumour gets more use when i need an active bass. jeff
