3.
It comes with a gig bag,560 for the bass 20 quid postage should be fine.
Done Pm me for payment details please
 4.
Now have a violin.Bump.
I like this, lets do a deal including postage. does it even have a soft case?
 5.
Righty ho then, he didn't want my warwick (it wasnt on the board so I was asking a bit more for it) So warwick back up again, I will go through my PMs and see if anyone offered. I'm not overly keen to send it outside the UK at all (i dont trust postal systems!) So the daftly low bargin price of £600 for folk on here. or a trade of at least £300 my way and something interesting. Hit me with what you've got.
I will probablyl have the Warwick. Where are you in Scotland? If you are bothered I have £300 worth of Rockinbetter ( lol ) badged as a Rickenbacker that I will never look at again.
 6.
The bass is still available, but with the added dificulty in that it's at home in London whilst I'm at uni. This means that whilst I'm not going to ask my parents to sort out posting it, you can still go pick it up. One warning is that my amp's at uni, so you'd have to play it unplugged if you want to test it. Also chiron, were you interested in sale or a trade? Sorry for the hassle, I was intending more on a quick sale before term started.
Sorry, I am not interested in your Bass but I would take the prices on GAK with a pinch of salt. They never have anything in stock when I ring them. I would sell this brand new for 40 quid if I do not have one lol. Good luck, seems a great deal for someone.
 7.
Bump. Could now be interested in a trade for an interesting 5 string.
Could the lack of interest be due to the dings? Was it not supplied with a case? Would you do a deal? I only live in Preston and am building a mini-collection lol. I have my Ric coming to me, I want a Fender P and a nice Warwick and probably a Les Paul. Icons, the lot of them. I have a "Rockinbetter" snidy Ric if you are interested in a trade but I am equally happy just to give cash. I only bought it after reading very good reviews about it and I have never played it. Whaddaya say?
 8.
If you go down the software route. You might want to check out Computor monthly magazine. It has a Dvd with a complete virtual studio set up. Seq, Soft synths, fx plugins and sampler and samples. And its all free, with plenty of tutorials. Cost you £6.99
Thanks, I will do. But how do you get the music onto the computer?
 9.
Well you could use one of the dedicated multitrackers available from the likes of Boss. I have not used them at all having got into Tracktion on the PC. Maybe because I have never used the dedicated machines in anger, but for what you are saying, and if you are happy with, and have a reasonable PC then I find the ease of using Tracktion, having it all there on screen in front of me and being easily able to set punch points, cut and paste tracks is great. The tracks HERE were all done in Tracktion with a couple of PODs (Bass & Guitar), either the Wal or L2500 for bass, a Peavey Generation Exp, drum loops for the kit and an M Audio USB keyboard with Sampletank for the keyboards. That said you don't need the PODs as you can use something like the FreeAmp plugin and you can probably find free soft synths dotted around the web. What you want to do is what I am doing when the mood strikes, and I love Tracktion (can you tell ). I bought T2 and upgraded to T3 from that for the new stuff available, but T2 would work fine for what you want and for £29.99 including the LE plugins that come with it is a bargain IMHO
Thanks for that info, in fact thanks to everyone who has replied. One question, if you are using just a computer with no equipment how do you get the sound into your computer? And is it a basic sound that goes into your computer (and you then apply effects) or is it would have come out of your amp/speakers.
 10.
If you're after a DAW set-up I'd try Reaper (http://www.reaper.fm/) which is excellent & best of all - free - but it sounds like you're after something a bit simpler, and I don't think the drum programming is actually all that easy. Could you elaborate what you're going to use it for? A sketchpad of ideas, or live performance?
Hi. What I would like to do is sit in the spare room and see if I can make my own music, just for me. So I would put a bass track, then a guitar, then a keyboard, that type of thing. I was lookig for a machine rather than a computer programme, unless the programme is superb of course
 11.
well for some reason there are more warwicks than folks wanting them which means the price comes down. Now the folk with them who want to sell dont like them cos they are loosing value. So what happens is folk invent reasons why they are not selling. So they blame it on nu-metal or on the quality diminishing, wawickhunt selling too many, the brand image being lost, or something... I don't know what the reason is. Then the economy tightens so folk go for trusty old designs that will hold value. Anything designed by leo fender really. Oh except musicmans. They are going to be like warwicks some point soon. Everyone loves P and J basses then. New fangled german stuff isn't in favour. But you like yours, and I like mine (and got it at a good price) so we are happy, and thats all good.
No. I sold mine to pay for Christmas. It was red and I prefer a natural finish but it sounded great played easy (for me) and, I consider a mark of quality, never needed re-tuning despite living in a warehouse.
 12. Last one in my trilogy of questions. What kind of bass does Peter Hook use and does he use a pedal to get his distinctive sound? It is the black bass with white bindings
 13. I see Warwick get a lot of stick on here, why is that. When I bought a Warwick two years ago the good folk on here said it was a superb buy, and it seemed to my novice hands to be a wonderful guitar. why are they so much out of favour?
 14. Is there anything on the market that digitally records and mixes sounds in a very easy manner, ie you play a simple bass line or riff into it and it is easy to repeat it whenever you like. It should also be able to put things in tune/time and have some drums built in. I feel whatever it is will be linked to a PC, this does not scare me too much but ease of use is paramount. Thanks
 15.
Surely it simply means that you have to be over 18 to get credit and not be already riddled with debt?
I am 42 and have used it to relieve my Rik GAS *waits 2 years for delivery or something*
 16. Sorry if this has been mentioned on here already, it is a scheme run by the Arts council specifically designed to relieve bass players of any gas they may be suffering from. http://www.artscouncil.org.uk/takeitaway/ It is a scheme that gives you intrest free credit from them to allow you to buy a nice new instrument.
 17. I have loved punk for over 30 years and that bass solo, however brilliant it is, does not strike me as very "punky". Sorry. The worlds Greatest punk bassist was Stuart Morrow from New Model Army. Any fool know that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkTFo-AZysQ
 18. BOUGHT!!! From a super guy from Leeds....Will Cheers Will, excellent transaction.
 19. PM? I hardly know you!!! OK then
 20.
Will drive over and deliver to Preston for £310.00 in case or £290 in Gig Bag! Will.
LOL, there is no way you would let a sale drop for the sake of a tenner. AND we have not even haggled on the price. But I do not wish to barter with you like a second rate Tunisian, so the deal is done. Couple of questions though. Are the pics recent? What is an ABS case? What is the fitted TRC? Cheers Will
 21.
Could meet up halfway or will post at cost! Will.
Grrr. I have no way of getting there.
 22. Can you get it to preston? Money waiting right now.
 23. Is this still for sale?
 24. Hi guys I have been playing bass for about 6 months. We formed a VERY informal band and because we could all affoed it, and had the time, we started a group. The problem is that the group consists of work collegues. that should not be a problem normally but I am getting flak from the one guitarist, who started learning at the same time as me, that because I am not up to "his" standard The band should be dis banded. The company ranking goes as such. Drummer, the company boss, without a musical nounce in his body. But is listening to this guitarist and blaming me for the breakup of a band. The guitarist keeps suggesting, and learning, "easy" songs, and has quite a library of well known songs. This is not done intentionaly, but please remember the boss is the drummer. My fellow band members have very little idea of what constitutes a band, and (unknowingly) will pick a song that is very hard for me to play. Then I look stupid. the who is an example that I can give. I have tried to explain to my drummer, who is the center of influence, that this man learns songs that are easy to play on the guitar but are very hard for a beginer to play on bass. He thinks the sun shines out of his rectum and I try to tell him.....If the song is a classic, either the guitar is easy or the bass is easy. But never both. I have posted on here previously, I had a Warwick bass, which I have now sold and am now looking for a Rick. What I would like from you boys is 200 songs where the Bass is a lot less difficult than guitar. Thanks in advance.
