1. All sorted, and yeah massive fun to play when you get into it !
2. Yeah its not bad, will get me in the right direction. Job done thank you!
3. Thanks! will take a look
4. Anybody got the tab for this, its not that difficult, just need it in a hurry and all the usual internet tab is having one of its "been removed by the publisher" moments please and thank you
5. Thanks all, yeah going to stick with it, was debating the POG but very glad I got to try one after the thought of one and before the parting of cash (could of been nasty ) The MB is doing its job now, its just a matter of getting it balanced for the needed job, its still a compromise the way I have it, but it does the job from A-B better than anything else I have ever owned/used so all good
6. Anybody else ? Been using it for a while now, just seeing how many others use one ? Its more fiddly than it looks, I put oc1 on about 8 oc2 on about 2 and the blend on full, that's about the best tracking I can get out of it, breaks up at about low G not good.... thinking a pog might be better for this job ?
7. This gotta' be due a bump!
8.
Baby's crying a lot . Double post have a bump anyway
just found a 3rd one!!! might need to sell more pedals if its my computer being funny!!
9. •Jim Dunlop 105Q Bass Cry Baby. Few chips to the paint here an there (as to be expected) The bottom plate is quite messy, looks worse in the photo but does the job, new ones are easy brought an pretty cheep too! See Here : http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2565332f0e the battery cover is there just under some tape for safe keeping as its spent its life on a board, Full working order so its good to go straight out of the box! Clearing out some effects and this is one of them if you come across my other listings, cant offer free postage unfortunately as its pretty heavy so just asking £5 and what ever it is over that I will make up myself (my loss kind of thing) Thanks for looking an all the best Dan
10. ****SOLD*** [s]Schaller Strap locks BLACK, One set/pair of in black, complete with two extra long screws Brand new un opened packet, brought them and no longer need them £12 pay pal,(gift please) that includes postage [/s]
11. No introduction needed here for this one, brought it here off the forum, had my fun with it so its time to pass it on! £45 (+£5 p&p) The effect pedal is in great shape, complete with original battery cover, and I will throw in the power lead that I made up so you can plug it straight into your DC power brick (I found with this pedal, it sounds great with a half dead battery in it rather than hooked up to the mains!) Thanks for looking!
12. ***SOLD*** Brought this to experiment with, didn't do the job I wanted it to do but is an interesting effect to mess with, on bass it serves as a mid scoop with a huge high and low boost. If you cut the high out of it, the bass boost it gives is huge!!! add a drive pedal of your choice and its huge!!!! Its on ebay at the min for £55 + postage, but in forum tradition of passing pedals around to try and experiment with, its yours for £45 (£5 postage sound fair?, I will sort the other half of it out) NOTE: the writings is NOT actually on the pedal, (its from me cataloguing my effects) The pedal is in great condition, think there are 3 tiny little chips to the the paint, no box or original instructions but the manual is easly down loaded from the Boss website as you all ready probably know! thanks for looking ! 13. Re-Re-Ordered
14.
Nice one
Just changed the running order slightly, put the VT AFTER the compressor, by thought it would be logical to put it BEFORE so the Comp catches any high spikes but all it does in that order (at volume) is choke the sound to death, sounded bad!! quick re rout of the cables (Planet Waves Cable Station, wow! how easy does it make things!) an Its set (I think, at least for now! ) Can get some great sounds out of the wah with it being traditional style, can sweep it, find a nice spot an leave it set like that for a few them move it again etc etc ... Yeah im happy with this set up now
15. Top bloke to deal with, Thank You!
16.
Have you tried the wah into the ODB-3? A lot of dirt pedals can completely mask the sound of a wah, but wah into the ODB-3 kills. I don't like fuzz into wah as it sounds too synthy for me, but a light overdrive gives the wah more work with. I don't have a board set up right now, but am finding I like the SFT and Beta going into the wah, and the VT / ODB-3 / Speaker Cranker after it.
Nice one
17.
It's very nice. I've got a Hardwire Supernatural as well, but the Fender one just sounds better for bass. Difficult to describe, but it seems to enhance the original sound rather than being an actual effect. Particularly nice on chord work and fretless.
Its something I will have to look into, sounds like it could be just what im looking for, the Acoustic Simulator I brought to try was a bad investment thouigh :s
18. How do you get on with the Fender/Boss reverb, something ive never tried on bass ...
19. Yeah I had it off the board for a while, will give it another go as not happy with something on there ? strip it down an regroup time .... will report back
20. Quite happy with this now, gonna leave it as it is (for now)
