2. Is it a brand previously owned by Leo Fender (Fender, Musicman, G&L)?
3. Definatly a covers band. I find I often get bored listening to origional stuff if it isn't the sort of thing I'd normally listen to. But if its a covers band at least you know the song and get into it more. This applies no matter how talented the band is, if I wouldn't listen to it at home and its unfamiliar, I get bored listening to it. Just my point of view.

5. Sorry, a bit off topic, but why is it that every one else has a ring finger bigger or the same size as their index? Mine is loads bigger than my index
6. Rather you than me.
7.
hehe, slight problem is that the rythmn guitarist is the singers brother and as its the singer i think it could cause problems.
I'd start another band with the other members and also keep on with the origional band. Then slowly fade out the origional band by doing less and less practises.
8.
definatelly Fender... The new Highway ones look great for the money! What kind of punk is it is it pop unk kinda stuff or proper punk stuff? If its pop punk what about maybe mark hoppus sig bass or mike dirnt?
I's say the Hoppus, the Mike Dirnt, or a MIJ 70's reissue P Bass. For the 70's reissue try looking here: Guitar Emporium
9.
I'm 13, been playing bass for 6 months I have an ampeg 8x10 and an SVT 1000 I don't play in a band, I play in my basement. Mark Hoppus is like the gr8est bassist EVA omg rofl lol Victor who?
I like Mark Hoppus, too, but I wouldn't go as far as say hes the best bassist ever (Victor Wooten is, obviously).
10. Well, the sellers German I suppose...
11. Thats not too bad, but theres no way I'd ever buy it.
12. How cheap is this? Fender Deluxe Active Jazz
13. I was looking at these a while a go, its just a shame they don't make them in 4 strings.
14. I don't know why, because its really wierd and i completely agree on the horns issue, but I like it.
15. I've never played one, but I guess the Bongo sounds nice, being a musicman. Also the Flea Modulus in the silver sparkle is hideous, but I love the sound
16. I always liked the look of the Peavey Zodiac, but I wasn't really impressed when I played it at the London Guitar Show. A while ago I had a Yamaha RBX, it sounded OK but I didn't much like the neck.
17. RARE Fender Stu Hamm It says that it's a Stu Hamm Urge. Its not. It then says it "is similar to the USA-made Stu Hamm Urge Bass, except it has a Poplar body, Rosewood fretboard, two Jazz-style pickups, volume/tone controls, pickup selector mini-switch, and active electronics." Some pretty big defferences there I'd say. Later it says "with the treble side cutaway allowing full access to the 24th fret". In the pictures I can't count 24 frets. What's with the headstock? Its too slim for a fender. If anyone knoes what this bass is I'd be interested
18. I'm 14 and have been playing 2 or 3 years so I'm not really a beginner, but I'm a teenager. My main bass is an Ibanez Soundgear 500 and I also play a Squier/Fender jazz that I'm doing up. My Soundgear's just a soundgear but my Jazz is cool. I bought it off Neepheid with bartolinis and a preamp not long ago, and I'm making changes. All I've changed atm is add a Fender Precision neck, BADASS II and chrome knobs and I'm thinking pearl scratchplate.
19.
I fell in love with blonde Kylie 'cos she had the Jazz PUP at the neck
Do you mean it has a jazz PUP at the bridge? Or is two jazz PUPs?
20. All good points, and not one of them occured to me.

Gas attack

Well, at least its got lines where the frets should be... I got a fretless P Bass thats got an unlined neck, i just can't get the hang of it!!! Still fun to mess around with, especially doing harmonic slides
22. Tait

Stingray GAS!

I love all the rays with the natural finish and black pickguard, especially kiwis.
23. A '54 P Bass with a musicman pickup in.
24. I was going to say Harley Benton, apparently they're good basses and they cost next to nothing
25. all depends on what song i'm playing
