1. Doesn't Stuart Clayton wright for BGM? Or am I thinking of someone else?
2. What about Flea? Or Mike Dirnt? Or Mark Hoppus? All of them are on camera as much as the rest of the band, and thats because they move around a bit (or a lot in Flea's case). If the bassist never seems to move or try to put on a show for the crowd the camera man wont bother filming them.
3. Nice bass. I'd reccomend a tort scratchplate though
4.
Why do they make the red tort pickguards? What finish are they supposed to complement?
I really don't know. One of the Squier Vintage Modified Strats come in red with a red tort scratchplate, its horrible
5. If you fancy selling just the scratchplate on the jazz, I'll buy (or trade for a two piece one)
6. He does say that he got it for a bargain price at a sale, and it is going £450 cheaper than the RRP. I can't see much wrong with trying to make a profit from a bass you bought in a sale.
7. how would you tune it? it says "the tuning of the superbass is un-defined", but seriously, where would you start when you were tuning it???
8. Sorry, I'm probably being thick, but why do you think this is a scam? It seems alright to me...
9.
that jazz looks lovely! I love white and tort pickguards on jazz's
Definatley! And the whole "relic" look (whether intentional or not) along with the EMGs just make it a gorgeous looking bass, and the EMGs probably sound good as well. I'm willing to bet it plays well, too.

Aerodyne

The Japanese Aerodynes with the scratchplates are loads nicer than the American ones without, and in the white it looks AMAZING
11. The more I see it the more I like it. Maybe if it came in surf green...
12. never played one but they are fugly
13. I'd reccomend the OLP MM3. you can get one for that second hand off ebay.
14. that's quite cool, i wouldn't mind one of them, except maybe not in the red

Build 2.5 ;)

I like the chrome bridge on it, but if it's between black and gold I'd go for black

19. Done!
Done ... but the answer to "Can You Read Music Notation?" was limited to Yes/No, where there should have been an option for Well, some - but I'm not very good at it.
haha same here!
20. PM'd
21. dont know bout the EDB but i play a SR500. Its very light, i can't see the EDB being much lighter. The difference in weight between my SR and my other guitars, like the Warwicks and Fenders, is unbelievable. I really noticed when i chose to take the Precision to a 2 hour long band practise, it felt really heavy whereas I could play my soundgear for much longer and still be comfortable with it. If you are looking for a light bass i would definatly recommend the SR500
22. joe strummer on guitar, myself on bass and chad smith on drums
23. well, ive got 5 (guitars and basses) in the living room, 1 in a bedroom, 4 in another bedroom, and 4 in the hall. most are just on stands but 2 are on on wall hangers
24.
JJ just manages to make the bass look like an offensive weapon. A big influence on me too.
true, i love the bass line on peaches. and the sound his bass gets is great, i love the low growl it makes
