1. I think this forum is the dogs danglies! have bought and traded via here, no issues. i kind of get his point, but he went about it in such a poor fashion, he was just frustrated he could not sell his bass, but that said - it really DID not warrant that kind of angry post!
 2.
I'm surprised to see that the Digitech Whammy is fairly popular - are people actually using them in a live situation or just pissing about with at rehearsals?
We play "Schism" - nuff said!

 4.
Digitech RP350 in as-new conditions with original packaging, manuals... tons of effects (octaver, wammy, reverb, chorus, phaser, compressors...) £99 + shipping (PayPal) I would be interested to trade it for a Boss DD-7.
Interested in this - how comaprable is it to the Digitech Whammy (either the Bass whammy or the red guitar one?) and where abouts in London are you - thinking of a possible collect! thanks BP

 7. Well, I think i am about there with my effects for now - so i have started my board - needs covering, which I plan to do with carpet (same as my Hartke cabs) just so i can use velcro hooks on the pedals - seems almost too easy. I made it wedge shaped, just so I can hinge the lid/footboard and have some storage for stuff too. However it wasnt too easy - Drill slipped and....... Managed to superglue the lump back in - hope its fixed for next tuesday jam sesh!
 8. right - I now have five pedals on my board, each with their own supplies, varying from 2.2mA up to 200mA, I have a power supply rated to 2 amps, my question is thus - can i just daisy chain from this ( in parallel) to power all my pedals? will i get issues with ground loop hum etc? Just sick of having so many wall warts! thanks y'all

 20. I was mesmerised watching Simon Gallup of The Cure, and I loved the sound, his tone I thought at the time was excellent, and I wanted to do it to! Went to Monkey business down in Romford, picked up the cheapest bass and got on with it- that was 20 odd years ago! stopped after a few years, then Start of last year fell into a Band by chance, and have been on the steepest learning curve ever! But I love it!
 21. I have spotted a floor in your plan....................NO space for any new basses! otherwise, its top drawer!

 25.
I felt a bout of GAS coming on last week. Desperate I was to spec up my own Warmouth parts bass and drop many $$$ that I didn't have on a bass that probably wouldn't have worked properly had I done it. After speccing up 2 or 3 different possibilities I quashed this episode of GAS by upgrading my home studio's software from Sonar 7PE to Sonar 8.5PE (at a fraction of the cost) so that it might now run on W7x64. But the GAS is back and today my mouse is hovering over the 'Add to Basket' button on a MIM Fender Deluxe Precision Special...........now I know I should go to the shops and sit and play the actual guitar I plan to buy but the urge is strong.. Oh and a Hartke head and 4.5XP cab is pulling my credit card out of my wallet this week too... AAAAARGHH!! Give me a painless cure!!
I feel your pain! Have been gas'in over a Wal, lots of pedals etc. So far this month I have bought/swapped a Ha3500 head, swollen pickle pedal, chorus ensemble pedal, Sansamp Bddi pedal,Blagged a Whammy on long term, bought a cheapie p bass, and just done a deal to get a T-bird! The only remedy I can think of is getting 6 numbers on a saturday night! Whats even worse is everytime I play, I think yeah I am happy with my bass/rig/tone/set-up, so why do I still WANT all this stuff!
