Suggestion

I have seen a few threads asking about power supplys and pedal consumption, would it be a good idea to have a sticky or a chart where we can see/add the power consumption of our stomp's?
3. http://www.tech21nyc.com/support/manuals/s...acSeries-OM.pdf Info is nicely hidden on Tech 21's site - but for both pedals, it recommends a minimum of 100mA per pedal and the TU-3 is 35mA. Your power supply is rated at 200 mA - so you are on the wrong side - will be safer to get a new PSU buddy!
4. I would love this, but I have nothing of equal value to trade, and no cash. Unless you would take all my bass's, and my mountain bike lol
5. Boss consumption = 25 mA Zoom = 300 mA so you are over the 300mA rating of the AC/DC adaptor, whilst probably 'safe' I would buy a new adaptor with more 'headroom' as when your pedal stock increases, you will be able to use it. the other thing to check is the tip polarity - make sure thats correct!
6. AC - alternating current - as in wall sockets DC - Direct current - think batteries. now 'most' pedals will need to be feed DC - lets just go with 9v (v=volts) your AC adaptor kicks out 9 volts, and can supply 300 milliamps. so as long as your LS2 and zoom, have a current consumption of less than 300 milliamps combined, you can then daisy from the power supply no probs! also check out http://www.johnnyshredfreak.com/store/inde...for_maintenance they have lots of goodies, power supplys daisy chains etc! 7.
Haha! It certainly doesn't fit well with the rest of the album (Wish). I love that album though. I think it was the first album I ever bought.
End and from the edge of the deep blue sea are my favourites from that album!
8. That made me sex-wee! If only I had a spare grand!
9.
It sounded pretty good. For the drummer i thought that he did seem a bit slow on the choruses and maybe a bit behind the beat with the kick in places but other than that fine. Possibly just trying to conciously not speed up too much on the first gig with a new band. Also i thought the vocalist sounded ok. Can't really complain except he was possibly trying to impersonate the singer out of pearl jam a bit too much which i guess is probably just a matter of opinion.
They were both really nervous, but I did notice the chorus' seem'd to drag a little. Point taken re vocal style too! thanks for your comments! Its good to get an unbiased up-onion! BP
10. NIce cover, we have been jamming this one out too, its a fun number!
11. Bit of footage from saturdays gig.... not a bad effort, First time out with the new drummer and vocals! Was a good gig, If you like, I have more! thanks!
12. Mr Simon Gallup, I loved watching him wallow around playing, he just seemed to really enjoy what he did, and made some fantastic noises too! I just had to follow him! Started playing The Cure, Bauhaus etc, slowley moved into the grunge scene, I now love playing Tool, Nirvana,Mudhoney, soundgarden etc etc..... I just find that when I am playing my bass, all the daily crap I go through seems to vanish, its great! Its my "Special Place"
13. Just wondering that is all, as I need to be getting one soon. (Can't keep stealing the guitarists one) And I was wondering what the new one tracks like, especially the drop tuing side of things! TA BP!
14. From Saturdays gig, rock the new El cheapo bass, with snot strings - wicked! lol
15. I can buy that, my uber cheap tanglewood, through a bddi, absolutely nails Justin's tone when I play songs like the grudge. I did not want to believe the "tone is in the fingers not the bass" but I am slowly subscribing to it now. But could it not also be a fact that the Wal can do precision tone?
16. Bought my Beringer tuner - promt payment, nice communication etc, a credit to the site! Deal with confidence folks!
17. I had to stick a new nut on, but last night I used this bass for our set we are playing on saturday, and Fudge me, the tone is brutal! I cheated and wired the pup straight to the jack, as I have not got space to stick the battery, but the sound this thing chucks out is fantastic. I did struggle getting used to the neck as compared to my Dean Edge, it feels like a double bass lol, but after a little while, I found my groove. I do need to put on a thumb rest, as I am used to anchoring on the neck pup when I play fingerstyle, but thats a small thing! I love it, my new favourite! I just cant get my head around the tone, its passive, using the stock Tanglewood pup, not even a volume knob, fantastic - so pleased, A real chicken dinner......going to keep my eye out for another one!
18.
I'm with Wooten, Geddy, Flea, Claypool, Burton and Jaco, the rest of them are IMO boring bassplayers who wrote boring basslines for boring bands. Nothing I've ever seen on the cover of Rolling Stone has ever persuaded me to pick the thing up, let alone read it, and the opinions of its readership has not done much to change this. The lack of Justin Chancellor I think is a bad one, he's written some great stuff. I'd also like to see John Myung up there, among others.
I agree 100% but I am a certified Tool nut! Its all too subjective innit!
19.
You could always do something like this: (unfinished project)
unfinished......mmmm... want to flog that SD pup?
20. My band have a gig in Ipswich on the 16th - at pub so free entry! expect grungy rock covers! http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/ev...215991015109836
21. Price drop before fee-bay bump
22.
MB1. "Boos all round then?"
Only just clocked this....spelling fail LMAO!
23.
Got the Micro Thumpinator in the post yesterday
Are those George L's, man they neaten up the board!
24. Well for about a year I have been unsing a Behringer BTR2000 rack mount tuner, its always struggled with the A and E, more so when I drop to D, or even lower to B, but last night I used my new (to me) Boss TU-2, and I realise just how crap the Behringer was. Tuning takes no time, the notes are picked up so fast, cant belive the difference, I am happy! that is all!
25. Purchased a Boss Tu-2, great contact throught the deal, and shipped in breakneck speed, and very well packaged! thanks! Happy pilot!
