1.
Here's my two: The very first bass I ever owned (and still do), an all original '62, that my dad bought for me back in '75: And the latest bass in my armoury, a '72: I've had acquired many basses inbetween (still have many of them) but I do love the P Bass
What is your address, when will you be out, and do you leave a spare key under the doormat? Very nice though, I must say. I love P basses, and the one that gets the most playing time is my'79. Not the best build quality, but the tone, playability and charachter is quite amazing.
2. Just wondering, has anyone tried swapping the tone pot in their P Bass for a Varitone? I'm seriously comtemplating it...
3. MultiComp peding...

11. Anyone who has dealt with me, please leave your comments! Many thanks Andy
12. Bought my EBS Octabass about 30 mins ago. Already have the payment, very polite and easy to deal with. A+!
13.
I tried that Frantone at Vintage and Rare ages ago, loved it. Pricey though...
It sounds immense, gonna miss it. Sounds incredible in front of a set of valves, like the B15 V&R have...
14.
Hi mate, No interest in an EBS Microbass II in trade for your Multicomp and Octabass have you? I'm after both... Cheers Shep
Not really looking to trade, I have a project Simms-Watts 100 to get thundering again, and need a Barefaced Vintage and Compact. Sorry mate, Hope it gets to a new home soon!
15. Up for sale are a few of my pedals, that are no longer used by me. First on the block is my EBS MultiComp. It is a two band compressor, and sounds very good, very subtle. Pedal is in 9.5/10 in condition, with box and manual. £164 List, £100 Posted, NOW £80 Posted SOLD Sound clip here: http://www.basstasters.com/effects/EBS_MultiComp.html Next, another EBS pedal, this time the OctaBass. Analouge octaver, similar to the OC-2, very warm sounding and great tracking. 9.5/10 in condition, with box and manual. £129 List £80 Posted SOLD Sound clip here: http://www.basstasters.com/effects/EBS_Octabass.html Here we have an relatively uncommon Frantone Lo-Tone Classic Fuzz. Handmade in Brooklyn, New York, with perfect build quality. Bought new at Vintage and Rare in Denmark Street in July 09 for £189. This pedal really is in 10/10 condition, it even has the original price label on the bottom, with box and manual. A warm fuzz with plently of bottom. Has DI out on it, with all the switching. 7/10 condition, has a couple of knocks and scratches, no box or manual, but will be well packed prior to shipping. £60 Posted NOW £50 Posted SOLD Demo here: http://www.aphex.com/demo1402.htm If you think my pricing is way off, please PM me. Not looking to trade, unless it is a Barefaced "The Vintage". Many thanks Andy
16. Bump for seller. I had the T-Rex Bass Juice. Pedal is mint! Good seller, very quick, very efficient.
17. Shotgun LPB-1. Open to trades? Oh, and the compressor - Very, very nice. Not subtle, I tried one out in denmark st a couple of years ago for £139... EDIT AGAIN: Sorry, been a long day. Didn't notice you said you were open to trades... PM me for details.
18. It makes the most difference with a smaller rig, I find. It does make the amp sound much bigger. Now mine is unused, as I play a big Marshall.
19. Decent cable and soldered connectors. That will do you fine. I made mine.
20. Marshall VBA 400 for me now... Sounds even better. The Ashdown cabs are going soon...
21. TaySte, you've got a Simms-Watts I see. How do you like it? I've got an old 100 watt that needs work... Interesting to talk to someone else using one for bass.
