I get that. I would have appreciated him actually buying the cabinet from me first though.

Just recently sold about £1500 worth of gear locally on marketplace. A few days later it turns up on ebay at quite a hefty markup. Now, I couldn't care less, I got what I wanted and it isn't selling anyway. What got my goat was that a TE cabinet I listed on marketplace appeared on his ebay listings, same wording etc and the bloke hadn't yet bought it from me. Cheeky bugger. I pulled my ad and 2 days later his ebay listing vanished. 🙄

Had 3 basses off reverb without issue, not tried selling as yet. A couple of sales on marketplace have gone ok and 1 bass and a few bits on here. It is slow even when keenly priced though.

8.30am start at the studio on Thursday. All done by midday for sausage sarnies 😋 -
I haven't done a proper a/b as yet but I'm leaning towards the RM overall atm. I bought it to use with my BF 210 to be honest, replacing the Katana 500 which really isn't doing it for me.

The VU is doing what it should. Not having owned Ashdown gear for about 15yrs, I must say that I'm liking this head very much. Sounds awesome through the ST.

RM800 just arrived. Original packaging, new mains lead and paperwork. Not a single mark on it so there we are, a bargain. Oh and it works as well.

I have one on its way, will report back on the condition later today hopefully.

How was Your rehearsal last morning or night ?
JazzyJ replied to nilorius's topic in General Discussion
Last Thursdays rehearsal was fun, we are a bunch of retired/ semi-retired guys on a synth pop venture. We keep being let down by keyboardists giving up and last week was no exception with a no show. BL/ vocalist steps up to the mark on such occasions but has a tendency to go off on a 'Les Dawson' tangent now and again, much to the amusement of myself and geetarist. Another keys player this week so will see how that pans out, I am a little frustrated with it all though. -
Just back from a Dexys gig at Scarborough. A good, fun night out.

Excellent condition Fender Jazz fitted with new Fender Hi-Mass bridge assembly and strung with new Thomastik Infeld flats. Schaller strap lock buttons fitted. This bass has one cosmetic mark due to stand storage, the finish is not broken (see photo). Set up with a low action, it plays and sounds great. Collection or buyer arranges courier.

Keep your skills up to speed, get out there and something will turn up if you want it to. My last band, a function outfit drifted apart after 6yrs and at 63yrs old I thought the party was over. I placed my profile on Bandmix and 3 weeks later I was in a '80s cover band. Go for it!

Paula Yates had Gadd looking worried at one point.
