  1. I've just sold John my Sterling Short Scale Stingray. He was a pleasure to deal with throughout & I would have no hesitation in recommending him at all. Many thanks John
  2. Thanks mate - it is a low price but it's one of my higher value basses & I'm going to need to be able raise some money shortly unless I can find another job, which, at my age I think is going to prove to be quite difficult.
  3. I've just bought a set of Hipshot Ultralite tuners from Andy. They were exactly as he described them, arrived very quickly & were very well packed. He's a pleasure to deal with. Many thanks Andy!
  4. I've just bought some D'Addario Chromes from Chris. They were exactly as described & arrived very quickly. Thanks Chris - it was a pleasure to deal with you.
  5. I'm not sure as I don't have one to compare it too. I'll see if I can find anything online.

    40hz Feedback

Simon bought my Ibanez EHB1000s today. It was really nice to meet up with him to hand the bass over and he paid straight into my bank account. Great comms throughout and a really nice guy to deal with. Many thanks for buying the bass Simon, hope you enjoy playing it and hope the gigs go well! Cheers
  8. Wonder when the other 5 books will be published 😀
  9. Hi sorry for the late reply - yes it is still available.
  10. Thank you Brian!
  11. Brian has just bought my Gibson SG bass from me. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout, paid straightaway and arranged the collection. Thanks Brian - I hope you enjoy the bass
  12. I have just weighed the bass & it actually weighs 3kgs so nice and light!
  13. Thanks mate!
  14. Yes I think may be right - I took that from a web site which stated 13lbs but that may have been shipping weight. I'll weigh it and update this post.
  15. NOW SOLD - THANKS SIMON! Due to being made redundant last week and with no money coming in I have had to make the difficult decision to sell some of my basses. So here I have my Ibanez EHB1000s for sale in Pink Gold Matte Metallic. It is in excellent condition with no visible marks despite the satin finish and comes with all the original tools including the ramp (I don’t think this has even been taken out of the bag), various wrenches and the strap locks. Also included is the original Ibanez gig bag. This bass has a lovely roasted maple neck which features luminescent side dots (to be honest these are not very effective), Bartolini pickups and an active pre-amp. It can be played in active or passive mode. It only weighs 5.9 kgs and balances really well on a strap with no neck dive. I’m offering this at a cheap price for a very quick sale as I really could do with the money. I’m happy to pack this up for you to arrange your own courier to collect (by prior arrangement) from near Kettering in Northamptonshire I have priced this low to sell so I will not accept offers – new these retail at between £800 and £899 Specs Ibanez short scale headless electric bass guitar Model: EHB1000S - PMM Series: Bass Workshop Finish: Pink Gold Metallic Matte Body Material: basswood Finish: satin-gloss polyurethane Neck Joint: bolt-on Material: 5-piece roasted maple/walnut, graphite-reinforced Finish: satin-gloss polyurethane Profile: EHB4 Scale Length: 30 in Fretboard: Birdseye maple Fretboard Radius: 19.68" (500mm) Number of Frets: 24 Fret Type: medium, stainless steel String Nut Width: 1.61" (41mm) Position Markers: abalone off-set dots, luminescent side-dots Hardware Bridge: MR5HS (19mm String Spacing) Hardware Finish: black Machine Heads: Ibanez custom Electronics Bridge Pickup: Bartolini BH2 Neck Pickup: Bartolini BH2 Controls: Vari-Mid 3-Band EQ, EQ Bypass Switch (Passive Tone Control On Treble Pot)
  16. It is but with no money coming in I need to sell some of my higher value basses to pay bills 😔
  17. NOW SOLD Due to being made redundant last week and with no money coming in I have had to make the difficult decision to sell some of my basses. So here I have my 2009 Gibson SG bass in Worn/Faded Ebony satin finish for sale. I purchased this from Clarky and it is in excellent condition with virtually no visible marks despite the satin finish and it’s age. Unlike the later SG basses this balances nicely on a strap with virtually no neck dive (I use a Lekato wide strap). It only weighs around 7.5 pounds so is easier on the back for long gigs. It comes complete with the original Gibson hardcase - this has definitely seen better days (see the pics) but still does the intended job of protecting the bass I’m offering this at a cheap price for a very quick sale as I really could do with the money. I’m happy to pack this up for you to arrange your own courier to collect (by prior arrangement) from near Kettering in Northamptonshire I have priced this low to sell so I will not accept offers
  18. ***NOW SOLD*** UPDATED: With my temporary contract nearing it's end I need to start thinking about selling again so this is reduced for the last time to £400. If it doesn't sell this time I'll withdraw it & put some of my other basses up for sale as I'm not going to let it go for any less. After being made redundant in February luckily I have now found another job. Unfortunately it's only temporary & as I've had very little money coming in I'm going to leave this up for sale for a little while longer in the hope that it sells & I can catch up a bit. So here is my Daphne Blue Sterling by Music Man short scale Stingray for sale. It is in excellent condition with no marks at all having only been played at a couple of gigs. 20. I've got a Jim Deacon shorty P in Olympic White, it's a nice looking bass with a vintage tinted neck, it plays & sounds really nice too. There was a J&D Mini Jazz but they seem to be out of stock at the moment.
  21. I've just bought Tom's Retrovibe Telecaster bass. The bass is in great condition & exactly as described. He despatched it really quickly & was a pleasure to deal with all the way through the transaction. He's so nice he has two feedback topics on here! 😆 Thanks Tom for a really easy trade
