Hi, nice basses! Just thought i'd share this... Have always fancied a Jag bass but there was always something putting me off whenever I tried one of them. Spotted one of the Modern Player Jags a couple of weeks ago and decided to take the plunge, really wasn't a fan of the white scratchplate so I got a B/W/B one made up by The Bass Doc and I think it looks pretty smart now. [size=8]THIS CAB IS NOW SOLD.[/size] Hi, Up for sale here is my Aguilar DB210 and it's Aguilar padded cover. I bought this (along with the AG500SC head) from someone on here a year or so ago but have only used it a handful of times (5-6 gigs) and then I ended up with a 410 and that's ended up replacing the 210. The cabinet is in fantastic condition, a couple of very light marks but other than that it's as good as new. I'm currently in Redcar, Teesside if anyone would like to try this out. If anyone further afield is interested I can look into courier costs but due to the weight it'd be best if someone could collect (or we could arrange to meet somewhere inbetween?). I'm going to be doing a few dates around the country throughout March so that would be another option. Anyway, i'm looking for [s]£375[/s] [s]£350[/s][size=5][b] £325[/b][/size] for this beauty. The Final Curtain It is with great sadness that just prior to the long awaited album release of “It’s A Beautiful Life” we have to announce that the much anticipated Mancunian union of bassists, Freebass, is no longer a functioning group. Recent events have made Freebass entirely unviable as a band, and with this in mind, it has been decided that the project should be shelved, rather than placed on hiatus while members pursue their other interests. The band would like to take the opportunity to thanks friends and fans for their support and interest, especially on the UK tour in June 2010. We also hope that people will enjoy the album, which concludes five years of work and treat it on its own merits. No third parties were involved or harmed in the break up.

Does this cab have covers with it? I currently have the DB210 but think the 410 would get knackered getting it in/out of a Fiesta

Hello everyone, I bought an Aggie AG500SC a month or so ago (used). After about a week it's went into what's called "Thermal/DC Mode" which is basically a protection mode. I've been in touch with Aguilar and have tried everything they've suggested but nothing has worked. The nearest place to me that sells Aguilar gear is Guitar Guitar in Newcastle, i've rang them but they don't have an engineer there that can have a look at the amp for me. I've since took it into a recommended tech in Darlington but he said he can't do anything withing a wiring diagram. I've been back in touch with Aguilar asking for one of these but as this tech isn't a trading company as such, they won't be able to supply him with one (which is fair enough). Does anyone know anyone around the north east where I might be able to take my poor amp in to get looked at/repaired? I feel like i'm constantly banging my head against a brick wall and it's getting me down a bit. Thanks everyone. Kev

Aye if it's only for a one-off i'd just get a bit of card and tape it onto the back end of the pedal that's causing you problems. Cheap and effective.

I echo everyone praise above. I had massive amp problems and with a gig last night I couldn't physically make it to pick up his amp and get to the gig on time so Marcus even offered to come and drop the amp off at the venue! Absolute top guy, could not be more grateful. Thanks!

Sorry for what is probably a very silly question... I play in a band locally (originals so not much money involved!) and when we get paid it's always cash in hand. Would signing up to PRS etc mean we would have to be declaring the earnings and then have to complete tax returns etc? Could all end up costing more than it'd be worth if that was the case that's all... Could be better off waiting for something big-ger happens and then re-think about it then? Thanks Kevin
