EB extra long. The cheap plastic strap locks do the job, can't see why anyone would pay over a tenner for strap locks myself like!

I've just bought sets of Thomastik JF324 and Daddario Chromes for my Epiphone Rivoli and Fender Musicmaster repectively. Got loads on this week/weekend but really looking forward to trying them out. I've never changed the strings on my Riv since I got it!

I'd say you'd probably be best off getting a standard Mexican 60s reissue jazz bass and saving yourself over £300. I know some people on here really like the look of them but for me it's a bit silly.

Thanks elom. I definitely agree with you re: they could do with being shorter. Most of the work we've been doing over the last few weeks has been sitting down and re-working songs to get them under the 4 minute mark. Thanks for your comments they're very much appreciated.

I'm really digging the look of the Classic 50's MIM P basses at the moment. Gonna have to track one down and have a go!

Hello everyone, I'm currently looking for a small-ish pedal board for up to 4 pedals. I've seen these Danelectro boards for pretty cheap (£30) which includes the DC supply and cables, seems pretty good value to me. Anyway, i've done a bit of Googling etc and can't really find out much info about them or photos in the inside of them etc. Has anyone got/had one? Any help would be greatfully appreciated. Kev

I'm in a similar situation at the moment, I don't really know all that much about bass strings. I play an Epiphone Rivoli and have never changed the strings since I got it (over four years!) - really need to change them but I have no idea what strings to get.

Lad I know has an Italia Rimini bass that looks the dog's and sounds ace. Well within budget too. Kev
