    This is very attractive but apparently Fender is now a follower instead of a pioneer in the bass market. But still i welcome the rolled edge and rosewood.

    Are you sure it is because of the pickup not the preamp? Any gain trimmer in your onboard preamp?

    yeah I like the look without pickguard … more Lakland vibe Especially the single coil pickup looks weird to me on a EBMM-ish body.
