  1. Good morning! Well, what a weekend! Absolutely brilliant show! Like others have said its such an improvement from last year. I'd like to think I had some input on the event, from the day after last years event I email Jason the organiser begging him for our own space again and he wasn't sure it would work or if people would be interested. I started various posts on some Facebook groups and the feedback I got was a midlands based Bass Show would be welcomed with open arms from the bass community, and I think its safe to say it was! I email Sheldon, SBL and more asking them if they would be interested and when they said yes I passed this onto Jason and sure enough he cracked and put the show on. Yesterday as I was leaving I saw him in the hall and he told me it will 100% be on again next year, so thats great news! Personally I had a great weekend and met some awesome people! I wish I had the forum logged in on my phone so I could have updated earlier but alas I forgot. I want to say thank you to everyone who managed to stop by and say hello. The feedback on the pedals was awesome. Sold a few bits and can safely move into the next development stage. Thanks again, Matt.
  2. I put a TurboRAT in a Warhammer Land Raider, just finished it today. Many hours of work and totally worth it!
  3. We get kicked into that car park but its also open to general public too
  4. Already both of those things my friend
  5. Anyone who brings me food or beer gets extra discounts
  6. Just been told SBL had to pull out due to family issues, but they will be there for 2026 which is going to be even bigger!
  7. Honestly the food in the canteen was nice, but, you knew a but was coming, its expensive and last year the ques were mental and it all went fast. I'll be bringing sarnies to the stall I think haha

  9. Yeah, Daisy Pepper with Spector Basses and also In The Pocket Podcast will be there as well doing something on stage. I'm sure SBL are going, but nothings been confirmed about it.
  10. At Birmingham? Theres plenty. Check the exhibitors list on their website.
  11. There is a new Bass Show happening next month in Solihull near Birmingham. If you didn't already know. Organised by Jason who also runs the Guitar Show. Its the same weekend in seperate halls in the same venue so should be great. Jasons just told me that the bass hall is completely full this year and hopes to expand it next year. I've also spoke to Danny, he was 'asked' to remove the video...
  12. Was probably asked to remove it by them. Its being organsied by Dan Edwin who runs Bass Review Magazine (which seems to have died a death)
  13. Wlcome Bilbo! If you do go to the Bass Show pop by and say hi!
  14. They look class, Tayda printshop?
  15. The organisor Jason, has gone to NAMM this week. He told us when he's back he will be putting out more info so I'll try and update here when he does.
  16. Haha be that as it may, good solder, good joints, costs a bit, also its a 500g roll that will last you about 3 months if your building a lot of pedals. Especially if your selling them. You need to be RoHS compliant remember
  17. I use Loctite Multicore - https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/solder/1850070 and I set my iron to about 410 for it. Melts and flows well. You'll find that unless you are using lead free boards that it looks a little dull but they are not cold solder joints. Still super solid. Either that or Kester, I've not used the Kester stuff but its meant to be top draw.
  18. I think you guys are opposite me on the floor plan
  19. Don't know how many pedal nerds we have in the house, but the Leeds pedal show is on May 31st and is only pedals. So should be a great place to check out some gear. I know a few builders that are going, including myself, so should certainly be something for everyone.
  20. Cheers Rob, was thinking more Sheffield/Doncaster/Leeds area. Will have a look at dates and venues soon.
  21. Did you get a response? Looking like around £750 + VAT for a 2x2 booth area.
  22. Hey guys, Some more info for you. We have Warwick and Sadowsky confirmed as exhibitors as well as Ashdown, Chowny Bass, The Vintage Bass Room, Barnes and Mullins and Rotosound. Also have Steve Lawson and Scott’s BL confirmed as well, with hopefully 2 sessions each day in the clinic room (tbc later) I'll add more info as it becomes avaliable.
  23. @Sarah BRM glad Dans got some help. Still waiting for my physical issue 5, could you chase that up with Dan as he isn't responding to emails. Cheers, Matt.
  24. I love my Stomp, but I feel it might be a bit of overkill for your situation looking at what you already have. As someone else said, DI box is usually at the end of the chain to send a balanced signal to front of house or recording desk.
