2. They actually did make a passive version of these SUB basses as well, but this one is an active version. This is indeed a true 2 band stingray tone monster.
http://basschat.co.uk/topic/250601-wtb-us-made-musicman-sub-5/page__pid__2621015#entry2621015 Might be worth giving this guy a pm? :-)
Cheers Rikki.
 3. Bought this on here last month from Roddy after thinking I should really have a 5 string bass for musical pit work after the last few shows were all scored for 5stringers. Alas I just can't settle on five strings! So it's up for grabs. It's in really good condition, currently got some nice flats on it. All the details and pictures are here - http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1 Next step up from this is a £1500 EB Musicman Stingray5 Classic! Price doesn't include shipping, but I am happy to ship in the UK. Trades - only really after top end 2x10 / 1x12 cabs. Cheers PRICE DROP - [s]£400[/s]NOW £375
 4. Something fresh in your sax life? Nice King Indiana Eb alto sax. Was my backup horn, trying to skim down the herd of Saxes I own. Great condition saxophone, fresh overhaul & playing great. Really nice tone. Comes with case but no mouthpiece (if it's a deal breaker I can provide a cheap mouthpiece). £300 in Glasgow, but willing to post. Cheers
 5.
Pretty sure the body on these is basswood. Mine is my number one go to bass.
Thanks for the heads up mate. I am going to drop the price down to £500 for this. Bargain considering the active EMGs are about £80 used!
 6.
Mmm, can you tell me more about body wood? How resonant is she? Condition of frets?
Not sure what the body wood is, I will look into it for you. The bass has flats on it just now and the sustain is great on it, light bass but still resonant. Frets in good condition. I will pm some pictures of the fretboard if you require?
 7.
Still there?
Still here mate, few bites but still it's still for sale.
 8. I've now got a ray5, this is still available if anyone has a nice fretless they want to trade? I can also add some cash to the deal for the right bass. Cheers
 9. LoL! I'm on my iPhone as the laptops gubbed & it doesn't list the location under user. All good! Will pop you a message C, cheers!
 10. Where are you based mate? Is postage an option? Cheers
 11. Now sold guys, sorry for not updating the thread sooner. I will reply to the PM's. Cheers
 12.
Great cabs.
Cheers man. I am going to drop the price on this a bit, as I have found a Ray5 I like and basically need the cash! Now £500!!!!!!
 13.
Oh boy! I want this! Why you moving it on?
Replied to your PM mate. Basically I'm not using the cab and I have some gas for a Ray5. Gigs in playing with the band are festivals and the like in Europe were backline is hired in, and my other source of work is pit work in theatres where I am DI and if needed my tiny Roland cube covers that situation. Shame not to use it, it's sounds amazing! Cost me £700 4/5 months ago with a 5 month waiting list!
 14. Well I might regret this one! Selling my Barefaced Bass Big Baby II cab, it's around 4 months old and I can count on my hand the amount of times it's been used. I had it paired with a GB 900 streamliner and it sounded amazing! It's the latest generation 3 cab from Bareface with its own serial number sticker on the back. All the details are here - http://barefacedbass.com/product-range/Big-Baby-2.htm Comes with a padded cover. Cab is in Glasgow, but I am willing to post. Looking for £500 + postage if required. Better pictures to follow! 21. Up for grabs is my lovely CIJ Jazz bass. Got this on the forum a while back. It's a 'Crafted in Japan' '62 reissue Jazz (1997). It used to belong to the Quireboys band and has been gigged, there's some marks here and there so it's nicely 'roadwork' (usual chips/marks). The setup is nice with some chrome flats. I have dropped in some 1980's EMG active pickups and they sound amazing! (Cost me £80). Plenty of poke and jazz honk by the bucketload. Comes with all the original pickups and wiring. It's very light, comfy to play. Scratchplate isn't original (off white/aged kind of colour). The colour is fantastic! Looking for [s]£650[/s] £550 posted in the UK. SOLD
