They actually did make a passive version of these SUB basses as well, but this one is an active version. This is indeed a true 2 band stingray tone monster. Gigs in playing with the band are festivals and the like in Europe were backline is hired in, and my other source of work is pit work in theatres where I am DI and if needed my tiny Roland cube covers that situation. Well I might regret this one! Selling my Barefaced Bass Big Baby II cab, it's around 4 months old and I can count on my hand the amount of times it's been used. I had it paired with a GB 900 streamliner and it sounded amazing! It's the latest generation 3 cab from Bareface with its own serial number sticker on the back.
