Tasty! Lacquered neck, presumably?
The neck is finished man but not as heavy lacquer as some stingrays I have owned, neck feels and plays really fast. Up for grabs - 1991/2 Musicman Stingray in trans blueburst. I have owned a good few Stingrays over the years & I honestly believe the best era they were made was the early 90's. Sounds amazing, classic stingray growl from the 2 band EQ. Striking trans blue finish & classic bridge with original mutes. Overall the condition is great, a few gigging related nicks and marks as you would expect which I have pictured. Weight is coming in at 4.6 KG. Not to fussed about parting with it, but it does sit in its case more than my other bass. Looking for £850 which includes a blue/black Fusion gig bag to keep it safe for transporting & UK postage. No trades, cash is king! Hey guys, Been searching the internet for a while and I am struggling to find a backing track for this classic Lewis Johnson / Jackson track! Can anyone help? Looking for a bass-less version of the song for some pupils to thump over the top of! Nothing on karaoke version. Cheers

I bought this a few months back with the intention of sending it to Germany to live for while on tour out there. Got something else sorted on the German side. Played tested it, sounds great. Sat unused since. Bought as an Eden Metro combo with amp issues as a fixer upper but the repair on the amp was going to be too much. Cab and speakers tested and working. Ive fitted a project box to the back with a pass thru 6.35mm socket so you can add extra cabs and still has plenty of space of you want to fit a speakon etc. Due to size it's collection only from our rehearsal room in Glasgow. £120ono Cheers! Chris! A pair of Rode NT5 mic's. Very little use, comes with clips but no case. £180 bank transfer please. UK postage £7.50 Details - The NT5 is RØDE's premier small-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone, sometimes referred to as a 'pencil mic'. Intended for recording acoustic instruments, drum overheads, cymbals and live performances, the compact externally polarized mic employs a 1/2" capsule, an active J-FET impedance converter with bipolar output buffer. Its tight cardioid pickup pattern also makes it ideal for use as an indoor dialogue microphone for filmmaking on a mic stand or boom. Expanding the NT5's versatility, an interchangeable omnidirectional capsule (NT45-O) is available. Finished in durable satin nickel, the NT5 available as a single microphone or as an acoustically matched pair.

Marco bought a 79' Fender Pbass from me. Fast payment & great comms, deal with confidence! Thanks man!

Bought this lovely bass from Gareth on here last year. Fender Precision Bass in Wine Red, which I believe is one of the international colours that Fender offered at this time. The finish is trans - you can see the wood beneath it. Usual dings, wear, fag burn etc. The laquer finish on the headstock is quite worn & chipped. Sounds the business! 70's Precision punch! Currently wearing some d'addario chrome flat wounds. Weighs some 10.5 lbs. Comes with original moulded case. £SOLD. Bass in Glasgow if anyone wants to try it out. Got this uke for a xmas present this week! I have owned a few ukulele basses over the years (Kala mahogany Ubass, Kala SUB 5 Ubass & HB (Thomann) bass) all of which (except the HB) I have parted ways with due to the fact they cost a small fortune and I couldn't justify keeping them as an expensive ornament. I did use them for a small number of acoustic gigs etc, but they were few and far between. Anyway, the Countryman - BUILD - Really nice build quality, no sharp frets or any obvious flaws with the finish. Made with mahogany laminated sides, back and top with mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and Aquila Thundergut strings. Maybe not as quality as the Kala, but light years ahead of the HB. The new strings take a while to stretch and settle on these but the tuners seem to be doing there job and holds the tuning well. SOUND - The bass came fitted with some nice Thundergut strings which I do think are an improvement on the black phoe strings these basses normally come with. Acousticly the bass sounds fine, for me not really practical for giging etc but totally fine for some late night practice when everyone is in bed. Plugged in is where these wee ukulele basses excel. The countrymans preamp is ok, at this point I would say the Kala preamp they use is far better than the CMs. With the high, mid & bass centred the CM sounds a bit top/treble heavy. I fixed this by rolling all the treble off, mid at 10ish & bass just about maxed out. At this setting the CM sounded nice and fat yet I could still cut through with some punchy-ness by playing towards the bridge. The preamp also has a tuner built in which works great. COST - This was a xmas present but I think these are coming in at around £130/50 from bass direct etc. VERDICT - At this price point the Countryman is a winner, I will probably get another solid body Kala at some point but for all my acoustic needs the CM does the job fine. A good way to dip your toe into the bass uke world. Short demo video l made is up on my instagram page - https://instagram.com/p/BOgMdy8g7TbtDJe01SNYA7ZUz4NplqelQXvGTU0/ Cheers!
