1. I would justify this as "ARGH I WANT IT" but sadly the banks says otherwise. Maybe sell something else? Surely a kidney would be missed less.
 2. This is, in fact, my ideal bass. Brand, model, colours? Spot on. I hope the lucky sod who gets this enjoys it at least half as much as I would. Good luck with the sale!
 3. Dear Christ, I need to get a job.
 4.
You only after basses as trades? What about amplification/cabs?
I'd be interested in a Little Mark or maybe something tubey but cheap.
What about a straight swap for this? http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=129585s
Thanks but I don't really get on with short scales. I think this bass might be worth a little more too, sorry. Good luck with the sale!

 6. A very nice review here. Bought for £300, installed a white EMG P (still have the original) for £60, put a set of Thomastik Infeld flats on it. Absolute mint condition aside from the wiring cavity which is filed on one side to accommodate a 9v battery. I'm keeping it in a hard case for the time being to be sure, to be sure. COMES WITH A GIG BAG. (Note the original pickup is still wired up sans grounding.) Here's the filed away bits, note the no expenses spared battery. I felt this was a much better way to do it than making a cavity for the battery, this is a very, very snug fit (need a screwdriver or similar to lever it out) so there is no rattling at all. This is a fantastic bass, as good as any Precision I've ever played (from Squier to MIA). Unfortunately I am not a Precision Bass man. I love the necks but the tone just isn't for me. I'd rather trade this as its currently my backup bass. I'd like something of equal or lesser value (cash my way) as I don't have much in the way of funds. I'll consider all sorts, just not short scales, four string jazz basses, precision basses or pointy things (ask me if you're unsure as to what I'd count as pointy. ) Sale price is £300 with and £260 without the EMG. Price includes postage, original pickup* and a gig bag 'n' box. (*I can't install it I'm afraid, I don't have a soldering iron to fix the grounding.) Now, ladies and mentlegen, offers please!
 7. Sorry, 100 is my limit. : I really am hoping to get some TI flats anyway.
 8.
I've got a set of Ernie Ball custom gauge flats - 55 75 90 110 if you're interested.
Thanks but they're too heavy for my tastes. I'm also adding a sale price of £25 plus postage.
 9. Well the title says it all. I'll add £10 for some Thomastik Infeld or 1954 Labellas.
 10.
i'd be interested in the neck!
You're second in the queue mate! Any interest in the body?
 11.
You sold the strings off a bass you are selling???
I needed that tenner rather urgently. I'm going to dig around, I must have a spare set somewhere. Would more people be interested if I sold it as parts? There's some good kit in there.
 12. I'll answer PM related questions in here. The bass weighs 4.7kg. For a part ex for a bass I need at least £100 coming my way.

 14. I've been struggling to keep my GAS under control I'm currently doing the usual "selling-everying-quickly" that follows overindulgence in the marketplace!
 15. Currently on my jazz bass, the strings haven't been cut at all. £10 delivered, simple as that. Jon
