1. Bump, this needs to go.
2. It was meant to have, but Home Delivery Network didn't pick it up.
3. Price is £150 + my train fare if necessary.
4. Possibly back up for sale again, no trades. Will get a price up later.
5. bumpage
6. Just a list of things I'm after: (General rule: classic looking basses only, please.) Squiers, CV, VM and Deluxe. I'll cover both postage costs to make up the price difference. Ibanez JTK. Any hollowbody bass? Fretlesses. Etc
7. Bampadump.
8. Any trades? I've broken the Danelectro, it was sh*t anyway...
9. Is it up for trade? I have an Epiphone EB3 if it takes your fancy?
10. Could I interest you in an Epiphone EB3?
11. Thanks for the offer but no thanks, I've tried a few Thunderbirds and the only one's I get along with are the active type.
12. Bump with update.
13. I got the five string version a few years back, these basses are phenomenal. A lot of bass for £150! Actually I might put my EB3 back up for sale so I have a shot at getting it
14. Oh come on! Look at that lovely grain ^_^ and you can get some seriously funky tones from those pickups. The bridge is full of honking high mids and the neck pickup is full of growl, combine the two for some really groovy stuff. A must for Cream fans! I would rather no money changed hands but for reference its £200 new if you want to give or take a few bob. I'll throw in £20 for a CV, VM or Deluxe Squier (not fussed which, they're all damn sexy!)
15. Ah! Forgot about pictures, give me a minute and I'll put 'em up. And they're up!
16. Things certainly have a way of fixing themselves! This is no longer for sale as I have solved my money issues. May be open to interesting trades though. (Would love a CV Squier...)
17.
Right - the 5er is a Tanglewood Rebel 5K. Nice action, a little bit of neck bend but nothing to be worried about, still plays ok. Sounds really lovely (Entwhistle pickups, P/J style). http://i574.photobucket.com/albums/ss189/g...03/DSCF0308.jpg http://i574.photobucket.com/albums/ss189/g...03/DSCF0309.jpg http://i574.photobucket.com/albums/ss189/g...03/DSCF0310.jpg The fretless is a Ventura (4 string, again a P/J style). Really nice sound, proper fretless "wom", pictures on a post in this thread: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=69115 Both are admittedly second hand, but in really good condition. I've been to a couple of stores and they reckoned they would sell for £100 each, so I'll make up the defecit. I could also throw in a ritter bag.
I'll think about it, not saying it's a bad bass but I'm looking for a more reputable brand.
18. YOu've certainly got my attention! Just a few queries though, is the fretless the same make? What colour are they? What's their condition? And how much cash would you be willing to add on top? Obviously pics would be a bonus. Just updating: its been given a set up and a clean and also restrung with some Ernie Balls I found under my bed (not my favourite brand but better than the dead ones it had one before.) Nice low action, can even get some metal 'clank' out of it if you want.
19. Well I'm in deep sh*t with my bank and phone company so £125 for the next week, that's £65 less than I paid and its in the same condition!
