1. Oh come on, these prices are low. Also I really need the money.
2. Hey there, upload your pictures to something like imageshack or dropbox (I use dropbox) and then using tags with the link. That's still works fine for me. I don't suppose you'd be interested in a p/x for 2 of my basses? I've got a very new MIM Jazz (selling for £400) an ESP/LTD 304 (selling for £200) and a fretless project bass (selling for £100). Good look with the sale.
3. Still up for grabs!
4. Sorry no, keeping that and selling everything else. What were you offering, out of interest?
5. That's seriously sexy. Any interest in trades? I've got an ESP/LTD c304 up for grabs (Selling for £220 but I'd be happy with a swap.) A similar bass but with frets.
6. Bump, removed a bass and altered the main post. Sorry for lack of decent photos, I'm currently 100s of miles away from these basses and my camera lacks the necessary zoom.
7. Would you be interested in a trade for a brand new MIM Jazz, an ESP/LTD C304 and a wee bit of cash from me?
8. Going up. Taking a few extra piccies now.
9.
You don't fancy a lovely MIM P, in trade for it, do you Spaz?
IT'd defeat the object somewhat.
10.
You paid £550 for a MIM Jazz? Was it new? Why are you selling it if you don't mind me asking?
Yup, brand new from the Digital Village in Acton. An impulse buy, of course. I'm selling because I realised that, while I was only using on bass (the MIM), I had enough basses to put together to get something a little more upmarket.
11. Just a family photo to begin with, more photos will come if interest rises. From left to right: "Fender" fretless jazz, ESP/LTD c-304, Fender Mexican Standard Jazz, Swift Acoustic bass (defretted.) "Fender" Fretless Jazz Bass: It says Fender on the headstock but none of it is genuine. The neck has been defretted and stained and currently has some scuffs and scratches on, nothing some stain and laquer can't fix. It has a WD Music bridge and is strung with a set of Fender tapewound strings. The action and intonation are perfect and there are no dead spots. Acceptable condition. THERE ARE NO PICKUPS OR CONTROL PLATE IN THIS BASS. £100 obo. ESP/LTD C-304: Very bright and zingy, very modern. Not to my tastes at all but still a flawless bass. Two passive EMG-HZ pickups (with exposed pole pieces) and an active preamp (vol/pan/bass/mid/treb.) 35" scale and 24 frets, grrrrrrrrrrrreat for slap. Neckthrough construction, gold hardware, v.low action at the moment. Good condition. £200 obo. (Postage to be paid on top but I will sort out the packaging and courier.) Swift Acoustic Bass (defretted). Ripped the frets out (haven't filed the gaps yet) and pretended it was a double bass. Surprisingly good condition. £20, collection only. Selling these beauties BECAUSE I AM AN IDIOT WHO SPENDS TOO MUCH MONEY. GOD DAMN IT. No trades.
12. Are these the quick connect type and do they come with the battery clip? Ta, Jon
13. Sorry, long gone. Says so in the title and the comments.
14. Updated, now considering any offers.
15. Fair condition, comes with psu and box. Posted for an extra fiver. Simple as that. No trades, thanks. Price dropped to £50!
16. Now for sale. £175 plus postage.
17. I WILL ACCEPT £150 CASH IF COLLECTED FROM WEST LONDON. I really need to sell this and that is a bloody fantastic deal. (Its not cursed, I just skint.) Specs: 35" scale. 24 frets. String through. Maple body with quilted maple top. EMG-HZ (open pole) soapbar humbuckers. Master volume, pickup pan, active bass/mid/treble. High mass bridge. Gold hardware. Some bumps, scrapes and scratches on the back but nothing similar. Great overall condition. Lovely bass, some what like an Ibanez SR. Very modern sounding, solid construction and a dream to play. The EMG-HZ pickups are not to be feared, I found them to be brighter and more tonefull than usual HZ crap and the active EQ compliments them nicely. Why am I selling? Only got this a while ago but jazz basses are my forte, I had to sell my MIA Jazz to cover expenditures, so I want a Jazz bass! Any more questions, just ask. Jon
18.
Had one of these for a month or so now, I love it!!
You better. I wish I had the money to buy it back. Great bass, great price. Somebody buy this.
19. Sound: Very nice clean tone, nicer than my old Les Paul custom. Haven't had a chance to run it through any distortion but I'll assume that's just as good. Vol/tone, neck/neck+middle/middle/middle+bridge/bridge selector switch. Nice and bright neck pickup, tonally even in the middle, very hot at the bridge. Condition: Dents here, scratches there, nothing serious. Electronics are perfect, tuners are very solid (stays in tune for weeks), good tremolo. Cleaning the fingerboard wouldn't go amiss, though all I have is lemon oil. £70 or trade for a cheapy bass. Prefer collection from Morecambe but I don't mind posting at buyer's expense. Jon
20. I'm disappointed in all of you! You should be complaining about the lack of pictures instead.
