Was this my old amp? If so its great, highly recommend. Pretty light and in my personal opinion much fuller sounding than the Tone Hammer 500/350 (which are great as well). Gigged it with 2x GS112 cabs. Portable and funky tone machine. Loved that rig.

Yes, it is your old amp Lee ! thanks for selling it to me, it's never missed a beat with no problems to date. Definately a good'n :)

  2. Hi and thanks for the enquiries :)

Gus - the chrome front face has rack mounting holes, with vents and the sides and rear

I'll get some photos up this weekend (been ridiculously busy this week). The amp is in South Essex on the outskirts of East London, about an hour and a half by train from Hammersmith. One change onto the Central LIne from Hammersmith station.

Will do Merton and thanks :)

Now £225.00 collected, will courier at cost to buyer

  4. Up for sale, my chrome - faced, British made Ashdown ABM 500 MkII. I bought this as I found my ABM 300 a little wanting for power. This one sorted that out ;) The amp casing looks in very good condition (easy to inspect, as it's not in a rack case) and it all does what it should with no problems I'll get some piccys up soon £225.00 please Thanks all :)

I always use Google to search here.Type the following to make use of Google's "Site" feature:

Thanks for the tip, I'll do that

    Top post for me.

Which just demonstrates the search engine is also inconsistent as well. It may have only been the top post for you Russ as I'd only just put it to the top of the pile from being two days old

  7. Hi all

    Price £395.00

Up for sale, my Aguilar AG500. It was my regular gigging amp for a while and has never missed a beat.
It's stayed in the Protec case all along and as a result, the amp itself is pretty much unmarked. I think there are two tiny scuff marks on the face where it's been wiped in the past, but they're so small you can only see them in a certain light at the correct angle and they won't photograph.

The case itself is showing signs of age with the lettering of the Aguilar name just starting to wear a little, but not a great deal at all. I'm only saying this as I would like to be as open and honest about the sale as I can.

It comes with the foot switch as well

I'd trade for a walkabout scout with some cash adjustment

I got this at a nice price through BC, so I'm going to pass the good karma on by keeping the price fairly low at £395.00

    Thanks all

  8. Enjoyed a cuppa with Colin while collecting a monitor yesterday. Always good to meet BC'ers :)

Communication couldn't have been better and really easy all the way through, thanks Colin. Nice Precision by the way ;)

  9. I tried this bass yesterday. It was well balanced, with no neck dive. There's no fret wear and the strings ring nicely. Not too wide a neck either for a 6 string

I'm desperately trying to convince myself I don't need this bass, but it's soooo tempting at the price.....
