I've taken a few mics to Shure HQ at Waltham Abbey, Essex (not very far away) for authentication. They've been first class and more helpful than many. Highly recommend their service.

About 18 months (or so) ago I posted a you tube clip on BC praising the guy's skill etc. He was playing a red roadworn jazz. Other BC'ers viewed it and offered comments and insights into the performance. As a result, I came away with a different point of view on the performance. So one benefit of a you tube clip is the opportunity for the BC community to all view the same thing and collectively discuss. How many of us can gain the same experience in other ways ?

I asked my GP to have a peek in my ears the other day and once again, they're about 40 % occluded. Does anyone here get repetative ear wax build up ? do we just ram the wax into a hard ball by compressing it with ear plugs ? how do you deal with it ? ear drops ? submerge your head in a hot bath ? drill bit ? Pardon ?

I've reflected on my post #27 and realised that I have probably not clearly conveyed my sinus - infected thoughts. No - one has mentioned anything via PM or any other means, I just realise my comment could be misleading. At the time of writing, I thought disrespect was being shown for the musicians of the Titanic and that was what I took exception to.
