1. Graphite paint is also available from e -bay - easier to apply than copper shielding
2. I remember reading around here that Jamerson used to get such a fat sound by setting the volume high and playing with a very light touch. It's something I'll have to practice, practice, practice, as I sing a lot while playing (which will only increase) and my attention is very often purposefully divided here, there and everywhere I'm sure someone else will be along soon with more constructive advice. Good luck with it
3. Oh goody, I also get to do this one I'll leave this alone now... promise http://youtu.be/faiwblIEvB8

6.
MB1. Careful with that Cello Mr Courier!
Good point. Expect I'd have to build a cardboard coffin reinforced with hardboard to ship this one !
7. Nipped down to Worthing to drop a some cabs off to Michael and Mrs Merlin. We spent a nice time chatting about basses, Juicy Lucy (the band ! - look out for that drummer) while they plied me with tea. A great way to spend an afternoon. Highly recommended, deal with confidence, Michael's one of the goodn's
8. Hi all £65.00 ! (not £130.00) Wharfdale Pro EVP-15m monitor (passive) Peak power =1200 watts, continuous = 300 watts. 8 ohms. Overall condition, I'd rate it 9.5 / 10, it's in extremely good condition and difficult to find fault with the apperance anywhere at all. It has speakon connections as standard. Collection from South Essex / local to junction 26 of the M25 or junction 5 of the M11. I'll courier at buyer's expense. £60.00 + carriage Thanks for reading

10. Good question Ben, I'll be watching this one
11. This is about the lowest price I've ever seen for one of these. If circumstances were different, I'd take this today. Oh well....
12. You could get a secondhand cheap 8 channel mixer. Run you tube and whatever gadgets through it (including your tv if you like) and your bass, listen through head phones or through living room speakers connected to the output sockets, even run spare speaker outputs from the auxillaries to the bedroom if you want ! One multi solution piece of kit, play along to whatever you have, won't cost a fortune
13. Thank you Stag, you've got the idea. The bottom end this cab delivers really does give some weight to your sound. The cab is currently around Cambridge, but I can bring it down to the Epping Forest area if someone really wants it down London way. Alternatively, I can deliver the thing within a reasonable distance and a little assistance with the fuel
14. This is stupid. I'm withdrawing the GP11 combo from sale as I'm practically giving it away at this price. I'll repair the thing instead, keep the head and sell the cab. Meanwhile, the 1510 cab is up for sale at £100.00, which is still a very low price for this cab. The first ad is bonkers. Ah, for God's sake
15. It's the Epping Forest area around the Essex / London borders Nearest junction 26 on the M25
16. HI all Up for sale is one 3/4 size Cello. It's intact and would make an ideal instrument for a youngster to get to grips with to see if their serious or not. I won't pretend it's in great condition, the edge of one of the upper bouts has lost a bit of wood and the finish on the edgings of the lower bouts has seen some wear and tear. I've tried to capture the instrument overall, with attention to the road worn aspects. A photo is included alongside my Classic Vibe P for comparison of scale. It doesn't come with a bow or case £40.00 collected please or courier at your expense. I'll sort out more photos via photobucket soon Thanks for reading
17. Dropped over to Ash's the other night to trade a guitar for some PA stuff. We spent a good while just chatting about music and books, going through his loooooverly bass collection and playing around with some sound engineering bits and bobs. Besides the trade, it was nice to spend some time with a genuine trustworthy person involved in music. Welcome over mine for a cuppa any time Ash Cheers Tom
18. Bump for price drop to £180.00 + piccys added.
19. Just bought a graphic eq from Mike. It's nice to see when someone's taken the extra time and expense to package something decently, I was impressed by the care and attention, it says a lot about the sender. Communications were excellent too. Thanks for a nice piece of equipement Mike All the best T
20. Just did a straightforward deal with Owen for some xlr and jack plugs. No complications, quick and easy, just the job. Thanks Owen, a pleasure T
