That's the reason why I grabbed it when it came up ! However, a new project calls, so something's got to give. Move on up ! -

Hi all Up for sale is one Yamaha BeX, purchased from Warwickhunt around a year or so ago. It's the orange finish and comes with a hard case. Overall, it's in extremely nice condition, I'd say 9 /10, a low mileage example. There are two small dings that havn't invaded the body laquer and one small dot about the size of a pencil dot (my camera won't pick that one up). I'd describe the fret marking as minimal, with no fret marking over much of the fretboard. There has been a small repair to a piece of the wooden bridge by a previous owner. The piece has been glued on and isn't noticable until close up. The piece is cosmetic, not structural, so no forces from the strings are exerted on any part of the repair, so all's well The hard case itself is in very nice condition as well, very presentable. I paid £230 delivered for it, which I thought was a very fair price considered it's overall conditiont. I'll pass it on for the same. I'll put up some pictures as soon as I can get them processed. I almost changed my mind about selling this while taking them, as it looks a damn fine bass, but a new projectc calls. Thanks all (By the way, a blue one went on eb for £318.00 (it was new / unplayed though). They don't come along that often !)

Hi All Here's one Markbass Sa450 for sale. It comes with a set of rack ears that have only been installed on this amp and bought spefically for this job. The amp's been used twice since I bought it from Pantherairsoft a year or two ago and it's been kept in a three U unit since I've had it, so it's not been exposed to any dust in the house. Anyone that knows Shep will know how he looks after his gear ! £415.00 please including unit and ears, or £380.00 for the amp alone. sorry no trades. Steve was kind enough to buy my Aggie GS112. I've never known anyone to pay for anything so quick ! Steve was also on the mark with communication throughout the deal, no problems at all However, there was a small problem when the cab arrived in Scotland. I had no idea there was any problem when I sent it off and was shocked to discover there was something amiss To Steve's credit, he wasn't phased by it and stayed calm throughout. He even investigated getting the problem solved bless 'im, which he didn't have to do at all. I ended up refunding Steve his money, as he didn't deserve the aggro (not that he mentioned anything !) He acted as a gent throughout and deserves the best for the future IMO Thanks for everything Steve, I hope you get a decent cab soon All the best T

Hi all Up for grabs is a Silver Yamaha Trombone. It's been used and comes in a hard case. It's hardly been used since buying it from Benbastin on this forum around a year ago. It has a few dings for it's age. Ben described it as a very good 'beater' instrument to use out and about. But don't let that fool you about the qualtity of the instrument, as Yamaha have a reputation for making instruments that play very well and this one's no exception. I'm only looking for what I paid for it which is £80.00 collected. I'm willing to post if the buyer pays carriadge. Thanks for looking folks T

The whole band needs to sit down and check sonically their sound in the mix...and we have been round LH in the keys before, but you are seriously missing a simple trick if the sound is poor in the first instance The number of times where a bass will obiterate the drums ..mostly..is staggering if my last weekend of watching gigs is anything to go by. These guy HAVE to play compressed but the fact that they can't hear the damage and set up their sound in the first place, also means they have no chance of using compression... Majority opinion seems to be swinging towards cabs in this topic. Reflected on this a for a bit. Anyone else noticed there seem to be more threads discussing the pros and cons of amps than threads discussing cabs ? Just a thought...... -

Hi all I'll probably need to get my own stage monitor at some point, so I'd appreciate a little guidance from everyone out there as to best ones to get, ones to avoid etc. The active monitor vs. passive monitor topic ? I'm not fussed at all about going for new, if there have been some really good monitors out there in the past, I'll be happy to scout around and wait for one to come up in the market place. Nothing too big though please, as it will have to be used in the pubs and clubs too Thanks for all your ideas BC
