Can't add much to this in the way of "do this, it may help", but I do remember my fretless being set up with individual piezo saddles by a well known luthier. It was a time consuming and painstaking process to get the saddles at the correct angles and heights to give an even output across the strings. To summarise, it may be a case of just spending some time to get things correct across the board, rather than a one - stop solution. Hope it goes well for you

Can't find any other feedback threads for Paul, so here goes. I didn't buy anything off Paul and he didn't buy anything from me ! However, I've been looking around for an Eden amp ever since meeting Paul and trying out his Eden amp at the Anglia bash earlier this year. Paul was kind enough to get in touch with me recently to flag up an Eden amp on evilbay, which I now own So thanks to Paul, I now own a rather special amp. Credit where it's due Paul. I'm afraid the secret's out - Paul's a good'n folks Thanks Paul, I owe you one Tom

With a heavy heart, my Aguilar GS112 is up for sale. It comes with a roqsolid cover. The carpet covering is unmarked with no 'bobbles' or scuffs. Overall, there are two small factors that prevent me from describing it as immaculate; -There are very minor scuffs on one or two of the corner protectors. The others are unmarked. - The carrying handle meets the edge of the metal cage it sits in on these cabs. Where the handle locks against the metal edge, the paint has gone. To be honest, you'd probably find this with a new one out of the shop if it's been moved around the shop by the handle. I only mention this as I like to be as honest as possible with other BC'ers about the condition of things. Overall, it's in extremely good condition. I'll get some pictures up if anyone wants them. The cover itself is virtually new. Black with red piping. I'd like £270.00 collected please Thanks for looking
Hey Tom! How's you? Agreed on the above statement! I do however accept there's an awful lot available in the Market place for people to choose from and 6 string fretless is a niche product. This really is a silly price for real profession Luthier built quality though. A stunning instrument.
Hi Shep, all's generally good this way. This sale has gone on far too long everyone, it's a steal at this price -

A huge influence to my playing for a long, long time. I consider him as one of our founding forefathers. If someone ever carves the faces of a handful of bassplayers out of a rockface on a large scale, I hope John would be there. RIP John

You can have another go of my RW's if it helps Jake. Save yourself £1000's and still get a bass that plays and feels like a 60's model -
I think it depends on the tuning to get the whole range, where as a bass guitar has the whole range avalible (though of this i'm unsure, and i'm talking about the low notes) Though doesn't A bass guitar sound one octave below written? So the B, 2 ledger lines down below the staff is the B string, but what you're actually hearing is the octave below that, The reason it is still a bass is it's access too and chromaticism (is that a word? ) in the lowest register (in terms of an ERB)
Just checked it to be sure. The lowest note of the Cello in standard tuning is C2, that is C two octaves below middle C, which is one semitone lower than the B on a 5 string bass. A giant upright acoustic bass guitar !
