Hello!
I have one of those bargain Harley Benton power supplies fit neatly under my Pedtrain Max. The only thing is that the power cable is pretty flimsy. What is a good, robust, replacement?
thanks!
Robert
Another voice in support of XTC. Colin Moulding had a real knack for writing baselines that suit the songs—and some challenging ones along the way! Probably my favourite post-1976 band.
Just installed a new loaded control plate from John in my Jazz bass. The improvement in sound was immediately noticeable, as well the subtle changes in volume now possible. The quality of the materials is top notch and the workmanship is excellent. John's communication is also impressive, working with you to get what you really need. Highly recommended!
Noisy pots. After one year of use. It was a cheap (£23) short-term purchase to stick in a Franken-bass I was assembling (and had sunk my money at the time into other parts).

Anyone out there experienced with these or others you'd recommend?

I've not shared a stage with too many rock greats (mostly a classical player), but I did once play with Topper Headon of The Clash. Good drummer! After that, all I can claim is borrowing a corkscrew from Jimmy Page at a National Youth Orchestra concert (I wasn't playing!).
You should not need to repair a bow that often. If your bow gets hair mites, then you are done for, but most bow hair can been cleaned of old rosin and oils from your hands with acetone. Be careful not to get it on the stick, though, it will take the varnish right off.
Tim (at dodgnofski) was a total pleasure to deal with. I bought a Markbass combo from him and it was packed carefully and he kept me up to date with the shipping details, including photos of all the label and tracking information. The amp was exactly as described and he answered all of my questions promptly. Quite possibly the best online transaction I've ever had. Really impressed. Thanks Tim!
Hello! Looks fab. I have a question about 802s. I keep reading different wattage ratings from them when they pop up for sale. Sometimes they are described as 350W (is that meant to be when powering external speaker?) Another time "201–300 watts". Can you help clarify? Finally, do you have a rough idea of shipping cost to Kent?
Ta!
