1. bump for final price drop £200 pounds for a few weeks old 5 string yammie
2. sure you don't wanna sell the streamer ;-) glwts
3. Ive had a basic 4m which itraded for a vm4 by far the best p bass ive ever owned. I foolishly traded that in cos I was wanting to try a 5er. They are top instruments that I would heartily recommend. I would favour one over fender any day. Buy with confidence you wont be disappointed
4. Thats like waving a bone in front of a hungry dog! Look awesome btw. Think id have been on the natural streamer like oprah on a baked ham had I seen it. Mmm thumb or streamer....must sell something
5. Humble bass in some of the company you list but try yammies new trbx range (not just cos im listing one!) Large range of sounds and a totally silent pre amp. 34 inch scale and the string spacing is ideal for your 80s slapfest
6.
I actually have 3 of them now as I bought the last natural finish streamer LX4 that thomann had 😁 the streamer is definitely more versatile than the thumb & has a more mellow traditional sound but I love all 3 of my basses. all of Them balance on the strap perfectly fine,I haven't noticed any neck dive at all, although I use a fairly wide strap.
well done! Didnt see any naturals just black. Like tge look of the neck throughs. whats the difference between the sreamer lx and the stage 1 nt with pj pups? Apart from NT and about £100 of course

8.
check out Thomann, they are clearing out their stocks of Pro Series Warwicks at silly prices, don't be put off by them being made in Korea, they use the same pickups/preamps & hardware as the German basses, they are superb instruments,i have 2. if you want a 4 string i would snap this up http://www.thomann.d...o4_black_hg.htm my Thumb sounds bloody ace,its the punchiest bass i have ever owned, whereas my Corvette has a mellower sound to it,i love both of them.
Really interested in these now. But thumb v streamer that's the question. Love a PJ but thumb seems to be the quintessential Warwick. Are they murder for neckdive on a strap? Andy Irvine seems to play them on his left leg when seated which I don't think I'd like
9.
Oh yes...they have a PS Corvette 5 string fretless for £417. I don't need it, but am seriously tempted at that price.
Have they discontinued all korean pro series? Just started looking at tge streamer nt. Thomann have one at 665 but in black only. Not sure how good a deal that is. Would prefer natural but they look good on specs alone, same hardware and electronics as their german cousins
10. Includes uk postage. Brand new active, killer 5er for cheapo price

12. Hi considering selling my TRBX 305 immaculate condition bought only a few weeks ago from Mark at Bass Direct. Not taken out of the house, so obviously never gigged all original tools paperwork, handbook, battery, original packing box etc. bought at the same time as a 1024 and im loving the passive sound at the min so thinking i might go for a BB425 or BB 1025(x) one of Yamahas latest offerings with the very handy 'performance eq' that lets you instantly dial in different settings for solo, fingerstyle, flat, pick and slap also has 2 band eq to fine tune. great range of tones and a totally silent pre. im in work on nights so pics to follow asap
13. I have an identical one of these. Free bump for low priced music man build quality passive tone monster
14.
Yeah that's right, PMT. I'm no expert but the E string sounded like it was on a separate instrument.
I thought it sounded really nice but was really banged about and they were asking top price for it. I'd rweccommend a 424 to anyone thomann still have them under 300 bargain me thinks
15.
In a place now and there's a Yamaha labelled as the following: Yamaha U90 BB424 Black PROTO TYPE - EX ARTIST Is this different from the usual 424 found?
Is that pmt in manc? I played that one if so and it sounded nice but had quite a bit of damage. Just got a 1024 in caramel brown. Yamaha BBS are great basses. I got mine brand new in a trade in deal but if paying cash think the 424 is a bargain
16. last drop to £925 posted £900 picked up
